The bar is pretty low to get a run here. So we can’t get even a 1/4 of that? We made zero adjustments and kept chasing the same stuff. We looked just as lost as the first game. Different arm same result. It was unacceptable and criminal considering how well we were throwing. We struck them out 15 times and lost. Georgia’s pitching staff was never viewed as their strength.

Now that we are out. I am, I guess, rooting for UNC. Tonight’s game, drawing some satisfaction in that one of those will lose.

Was a great season. Congrats to Schloss and the team! Cant wait for next year. If the front of the order stayed what they were in the season it might have been championship. Harrison with a gutsy effort in that last game. He should hold his head up leaving UT.

Tinney played about as poorly as he could've in the CWS. Still doesn't mean he shouldn't have been there. We wouldn't be there without him. Frustrating that the offense was so inconsistent all season long... the pitching did it its part. Now, hit the portal and shut everyone up in 2027 and make the 40th CWS appearance one to remember! 🤘

Texas only has one roster spot available if my math is correct. I don’t know if White will try to get an outfielder or move on. I’m ready for coaching announcements.

Yeah it wouldn’t surprise me if White closes shop now. Maybe they get another arm to add depth in the bullpen with Kavan, Lincoln, Wells, Doty, and Gonzales. Like you said, I could see them putting underclasswomen out there in the outfield spots. This is where balancing utilizing the portal vs development of high school recruits comes into play. If there’s an instant impact player out there they like that could fill one of those spots, I’m sure they would add them if the fit is right. But still have to recruit and develop players they sign out of high school.
