  2. Almost positive Derrick and Jamaal are still the Chiefs' all-time leading tackler and rusher. Justin Tucker probably somewhere on there. Bijan will be on there one day. Byron Murphy as well. Orakpo had a more than solid career

  7. RIP, I was admitted to the Heart Hospital (ICU) for four days in 2014. A blood clot had traveled from my left knee to my chest. The ICU doctor reported I had a "massive embolism" and was very lucky to have survived. That was the man upstairs, not luck.

  15. Wait, I refuse to believe Kiffin is involved in a broken promise.
  16. I thought it was so lame he won the Heisman. LSU padded his stats and kept him in in several blowouts. Penix, Bo Nix, and Marv Harrison were the other finalists and there wasn't an obvious winner but I thought Penix was more important to his team's success than anyone else in NY that year.
  17. 9-4, aka what aggie will be if they can scrape out a win in the Texas Bowl
  18. Welcome to the family! You must've been excited when Texas landed Jordan Hicks out of Ohio!

  22. Sentimental choice - Danny Lester, national champion DB, RIP
  23. Today’s Countdown to Kickoff takes us to No. 23 and there’s a pretty interesting mix of Longhorns who have worn it over the years. Jeff Ward put together one of the best kicking careers in school history, finishing with 206 points while earning First-Team All-America honors in 1986 and three All-SWC selections. Danny Lester was part of Texas’ championship run under Darrell Royal, winning national titles in 1969 and 1970. His interception against No. 2 Arkansas in the 1969 “Game of the Century” helped keep Texas alive in the 15-14 comeback win. Carrington Byndom became a fixture in the secondary, appearing in 38 games with 26 starts, recording five interceptions and returning two of them for touchdowns. He was a First-Team All-Big 12 selection in 2011. And Jaydon Blue gave Texas another explosive weapon in the backfield, finishing his career with 1,161 rushing yards, 503 receiving yards and 11 rushing touchdowns while helping the Longhorns reach back-to-back College Football Playoffs. The current No. 23 is defensive back Jordon Johnson-Rubell. Who gets your vote as the best Longhorn to wear No. 23?
