  1. Past hour
  2. This is like a "Players only meeting" but for the fans.
  3. This is the type of sh*t that we get made fun of for - McConaughey, who isn’t a player, is writing in the Players Tribune, to tell fans that we need to basically keep the faith after our fans invested $50 million and significant time into this team. This is after our HC (who is also our OC) went around and paraded how good this team is only to have an awful offense and lose to 2 unranked teams. This is borderline insufferable.
  4. Sark said it himself, we have to give them something to cheer about. If you want loud and rowdy try not having 10 of your 15 drives go for 4 plays or less that would help.
  5. You are responding to a troll, man. It's not worth your time. The guy spends all day making fun of OTF mods on Twitter, yet is allowed to come on here and stir up drama. Notice how he's never around after wins.
  6. That’s not the message. That’s the message you chose to take from it. A lot of truth in that message. I’ve been a season ticket holder since I graduated from UT in 91. Maybe missed 10 home games in 40 years. Went to Tenn game this year and the atmosphere is so much different than what I heard from DKR in the 1st half of the Florida game. The offense came out and scored in the 1st qtr and the crowd was still lame as hell when we were in defense the entire 1st half of the game. You can sit around and mope and be pissed iff or you can choose to try to help out the team.
  7. The Texas Longhorns softball team sits in Tier 4 nationally (not top25) , with a total estimated active-roster NIL market valuation of $600,000. https://thesideline.co/nil-school/texas Top 25 Softball NIL Oklahoma (Est. $4.8M) Texas Tech (Est. $3.8M) Florida (Est. $1.2M) Arizona (Est. $1.1M) Tennessee (Est. $1.1M) Kentucky (Est. $1.1M) Auburn (Est. $1.1M) Louisville (Est. $1.1M) North Carolina / Oklahoma State / Iowa State (Est. $975K each) Ole Miss / Georgia / Clemson (Est. $950K each) NC State / Boston College (Est. $900K each) Missouri / Arizona State (Est. $850K each) Mississippi State / Florida State (Est. $825K each) Arkansas (Est. $800K each) Virginia Tech / California (Est. $775K each) Utah (Est. $675K) https://thesideline.co/nil-tracker/softball
  8. Predictions on this thread range from an 18 point Texas win to a 4 touchdown loss with Sark fired and the whole team portaling out. Wild times.
  9. Or maybe you could respond to what I actually said instead of what you assumed I meant. I never criticized fans cheering. I questioned the timing and message given the state of the program. Funny how the guy handing out reading comprehension lessons keeps misreading the argument.
  10. I'm just going based on your response to a letter asking fans to be louder and keep cheering for the team, instead of being quiet. Maybe you should think about the message you are conveying if it's misinterpreted.
  11. Who said anything about quitting on the team? You’re arguing against something I never said. Fans can show up, be loud, support the players AND expect better from Sark. It’s not complicated. For someone lecturing others on reading comprehension, you sure struggle with it. 😂
  12. It’s never been more over than it is right now.
  13. nothing he said has to do with not holding the team or Sark accountable. It's what can fans do right now to help this team? It's be loud, stay late, wear burnt orange. THAT IS OUR JOB. If you want to cry, complain, and quit on the team, then go join TexAgs. Billy will welcome you with open arms.
  14. I don't care what this propagandist goober thinks about anything, but it's rich to write this tripe about fans needing to step up for a $50M team, a "generational" talent at quarterback and a "genius" play caller. The crowds were silent because the team crumbled in both games and has been absolutely putrid ever since the UTSA game. McConaughey doesn't need to worry, though, since he'll always have people like this Rocky P goof to defend each other and blame the fan base for this pathetic football team.
  15. He had an issue with ankle/foot in camp. I don’t know if it’s still an issue, to be honest.
  16. Nothing says “reading comprehension” like posting a dictionary definition instead of addressing the point. Fans can support the players and hold Sark accountable. Apparently that distinction was a little too complicated. 😂
  17. The OL staters haven't consistently gotten the job done but we are told by Sark the backups aren't practicing well enough to play. Why? Given this statement, what would happen if one of the starters went down? Would OL play deteriorate further? Portal talent was brought in over the off season to supposedly address deficiencies yet it hasn't produced consistent results. Just the opposite, as Jeff noted, things are worse than last year. There are serious issues with either OL talent evaluation, acquisition, or development. Or all three. The multitude and continuing nature of OL difficulties point to overall systemic problems and that lands squarely at the feet of Flood. Sark ultimately owns the problem because, unlike the defense, he has failed to take effective steps to remedy the situation. Will the OL come through tomorrow? While recent experience says we should not expect it - I definitely hope so. Because on the heels of two consecutive losses, failure should not be an option.
  18. Well they finally played head to head and Daughtry dropped 46 for FOG as they knocked off Black and RWE. He may not be the best pro prospect in the class but he’s currently the best player. He’s had a hell of a run the past year. Black is a great player as well almost had a triple double.
  19. Going to test my luck on a Friday. First time with one of these boxes.
  20. That tweet that Texas has fired Kyle Flood is going to do things to my soul
  21. Seems like for the foreseeable future, in any given season, if you pick Texas, Texas Tech, or Oklahoma to win the national championship, you will probably be right because at least one of those three teams has played in the WCWS National Championship Series since 2019. They are clearly the three best programs in college softball right now, similar to WCBB with South Carolina, UConn, UCLA, and Texas. Alabama, Tennessee, and UCLA probably have the best chance to win it all out of the non-big three college softball teams in 2027. Besides that, I cannot see any other team dogpiling in OKC. I'm curious to see the NIL spending tiers for college softball like we have seen for college football and men's college basketball.
  22. I agree on that. Sucks on the ALL in season we are where we are
  23. You have already been in the portal threads since Flood was retained.
