What is Longhorn process? If you listen to Kirby Smart halftime speech, he focused on Process not score. Process is Physicality. Beat them up, it's war. Muschamp is more like Kirby than Sark.

Population will always produce the most players overall. Just like more 3-stars are drafted than 4's and 5's ... its a numbers game!!! But any thought that Arch struggles are tied to be a small school player are just flat out wrong. I gave you the list with many tremendous QB's ... it's right there if you actually dig deeper. You simply don't have to come from big cities and the biggest schools to be a high level athlete, at any position.

I never said playing 6A ball was the only thing AM needed, but it would have greatly helped his mental development. BTW, 5A used to be the largest classification in Texas, so that's why it's included. Obviously, athletic talent and intelligence are needed more than a larger school, but the results speak for themselves. 5A and 6A Qb's from Texas since 1980: Patrick Mahomes: Whitehouse Matthew Stafford: Highland Park (Dallas) Andrew Luck, David Klingler: Houston Stratford Andy Dalton: Katy Jalen Milroe: Katy Tompkins Robert Griffin III: Copperas Cove Chase Daniel, Greg McElroy, Quinn Ewers: Southlake Carroll Shane Buechele: Arlington Lamar Clayton Tune: Carrollton Hebron Tommy Maddox: Hurst L.D. Bell Christian Ponder: Colleyville Heritage Graham Harrell: Ennis Vince Young: Houston Madison Kyle Trask: Manvel Michael Bishop: Willis Ryan Mallett: Texarkana Texas High Trevor Knight: San Antonio Reagan Cody Carlson: San Antonio Churchill Ty Detmer: San Antonio Southwest Koy Detmer: Mission Bailey Zappe: Victoria East Case Keenum: Abilene Wylie John Skelton: El Paso Burges 3A and below: Ryan Tannehill Colt McCoy Kevin Kolb Jarrett Stidham -

Hypothetical Question

This is what I’ve been thinking as well. Sark has done a lot for Texas and this program. We are in a MUCH better place now than when he got here. Even though he hasn’t won a national title I do believe he’s earned the CEO right. Go out and find that young and hungry OC that wants to make a name for himself and start building your coaching tree. -
Im afraid itll click once its too late and we are begging for a chance to make the playoffs. There is alot less pressure once the pressure is gone. It seems once we get that number one spot sark doesnt know how to handle being the top dog.

Since we’re talking about this hypothetically (Sark isn’t giving up play-calling, so this is all moot), I want Sark to think back to when he and Lane Kiffin were at USC with Norm Chow. Sark is in the Norm Chow seat. Who’s the next up-and-coming, cutting-edge offensive mind Sark can elevate to the next level? I want Sark to do something similar to what Kirby Smart has done at Georgia. Mel Tucker, Dan Lanning and Glenn Schumann were all in their 30s when they started calling Smart’s defense and only Tucker had defensive play-calling experience before getting into that role at Georgia. Tucker and Lanning became head coaches after being the Georgia DC and Schumann is on his way. The Texas offense will always be Sark’s offense as long as he’s there. But I want Sark to find the next Sark, let him set the world on fire, take a head coaching job and then bring in the next guy who can follow the same path.

Don't forget all the times we've run the kickoffs 5 yards deep out of the end zone. Add that to the special teams blunders.

Cadillac Jameson trying to pimp slap Sark with this bitterness is unbecoming. ST needs attention and focus, absolutely, but is a coach getting fired mid season the solution? No IMO, this list is more a collection of player errors and we don’t truly know what’s being told/coached in practice or film. I think we all agree th discipline on this team is lacking bit that to me is part coaching but larger part team leadership. What are guys like Arch and Simmons doing to prepare. Are they obsessed with winning and perfecting their craft? Are they pulling others up to that standard? Are you showing you’re willing to do whatever it takes to work n? Every second of it very day? Are you using everything at your disposal to get better? I’m going to say not to the championship level and the guys on special teams are a reflection of that. We keep waiting for coaching but championships are won on player led teams gotta have more from my player leaders, got to. When you we’re playing ball did you get better because your coach was telling you everything or was it because they provided teaching, technique, patience, and time for you to put in the work and show growth and improvement every day?! Did you blame the coaches when you struck out or made an error? I hope not. Did they blame you? Hope not, I hope they held you accountable helped you get through it and learn from it. We need our team leaders do demand excellence like Ed Reed and VY did. It’s their team and their time. I love you @CJ Vogel so buckle up because when this clicks is gonna be a rocket! Get off the ledge and come back to the party!

I don’t care that he’s a ga guy. I loathe a lack of objectivity. Do people overly blame refs for losing? Sure. Can refs make critical decisions late in games that significantly altar an outcome? Absolutely. Are today’s refs at an all time incompetent, or worse, biased high? Unquestionably. He should use his platform to improve the overall game first and then honk for ga. -
We need to stop monkeying around on special teams. Is there a doctor in the neighborhood?
-
The ohio state first half debacle made me come to the harsh realization that sark may have reached his ceiling here with the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

We haven't been good on special team in a while. When was the last time we blocked a punt? We don't do that very often. our return game has been mediocre outside of some plays by Niblett last year. This year he's been a non-factor. Punting was better last year and this year it's hit or miss. The K is pretty decent, he had the leg for the 53 yard FG attempt just veered right. But that's such a bad answer, imo.

I think it needs to be simplified. You have had your grocery pickings if your Steve sarkisian. Arch made chicken salad/soup etc out of chicken chet last year. The kid can make every throw. When every player is declining in draft projection and you pull guys when their hot, are you a genius? I love this team. CJ asked a genuinely honest question today and sark tried to belittle it. Sark preaches he's this great guy and leader I don't see it. He's an egotistical asshole and he will only right the ship if held to account. 🤘
