  1. Past hour
  2. As some others have said, the freshman are talented but they lack experience. Whether they get enough experience during the year to make a run at the end will be key. A couple of freshman for UConn were European pro players and the experience difference was obvious. PG definitely was rough, especially the 2nd half. Shooting % outside of Booker second half just took a nose dive off a cliff.
  3. If Sark doesn't know his QB has trouble with the offense he's running now that his QB is in his 4th year, then it is on Sark, the offense he runs and the plays he calls. Either simplify the offense or get someone that is capable of running it. We had patience with Arch when he got the starting role, but he has been around enough he should be able to run the offense. We constantly hear how good Arch is in practice but it doesn't transfer to the games, then you might need to change the way you practice. We don't need to single out one or the other, Sark or Arch, neither one is doing a good job.
  4. LG and LT doing there job. Center , RG, RT not so much.
  5. The play where he threw high to the TE where Coleman was wide open at the end zone…..ouch.
  6. On a scale of 1-10, how surprised are the mods at the state of the offense 6 games into this season given the offseason hype? In particular, what are you most surprised about specifically?
  7. I rooted for the kid and celebrated when we got him. But something ain’t right. That video also took my Sark pitchfork and stowed it for a bit.
  8. One thing about going with KJ is at that point I don’t think there will be any going back and run Arch back in there. That’s usually why coaches take so long to change, because it breaks any confidence the starter had left. I’m not saying don’t do it, but I’m just saying if you do the Arch era is probably over. He’s not going to all of a sudden watch and come back in dialed in. I think Arch is better than he has shown but most of his games here we’ve ran out a subpar offensive line and he’s getting hit so much. It has a rattling effect. We should have addressed the offensive line better in the portal (I thought we did but obviously not). And you can’t tell me that one the way to attack Texas was made public, Sark couldn’t have figured out how to beat it. It’s not like he has to wonder what the defense is going to do……THEY ARE GOING TO DO THE SAME FREAKING THING ALL THE OTHER ONES HAVE DONE. Until you stop/burn it that’s what we’ll see
  9. Exhibition. First one for Texas. Believe it was UConn's second.
  10. Seems it may not be play calling. But going for it on 4th and 2 with a Running game that can not pick up short yardage against a high school team with a 2 TD lead is my gripe on Sark. Still love the Horns and hope like hell a miracle happens but does not look good without good many changes. Hell we have to go against Ole Miss offense without Simmons. One of the best players in college football is out and almost not chatter about it because of how bad we are on Offense. Sucks.
  11. I think my vote would be Arch starts, KJ gets thrown into an impossible situation, Arch finishes?
  12. Can any QB be truly successful in a play action shot offense that can’t run the ball?
  13. I’d tend to agree, but I’ve seen the guy be a decisive gunslinger (2024 starts).
  14. At least he's classified as a senior. Can you imagine if he was counted as a true freshman with 4 more years of eligibility left?
  15. Some of what he does bad seems unfixable. I doubt we see him ball out anywhere. I am leaning he may just be a bust.
  16. Missing the playoffs two years in a row should garner the same heat....I mean if you cannot even field a top 12 team what are we doing?
  17. Is there something going on in your life I could pray for?
  18. The heat got to Ohio State late in the second half is the best explanation I have.
  19. Both. I’m pretty clear about my stance on Ryan Day and his coaching prowesss. Additionally, I don’t think Texas has a dynamic run game just waiting to be unleashed. They’re 119th in yards per attempt currently, it’s pretty bad.
  20. For me, it’s far beyond missed reps in the spring. He’s seeing ghosts and things are snowballing. I do think there’s something to him being shell shocked, for lack of a better term.
  21. It’s going to unreal watching him ball at Miami next year.
  22. Such bullsh*t. 7 years in pro leagues in Europe and gets some judge to grant him eligibility here for a year
