  1. Past hour
  2. So now the standard for "developed" is being a top-7 NFL pick? That's a pretty convenient moving target. Quinn arrived at Texas coming off limited playing time, won a conference championship, made the Playoff, improved his command of the offense, improved his decision-making, and left as an NFL draft pick. If that's "not developed," then a whole lot of college coaches around the country would love to fail that way. That's confusing draft position with player development. Not every 5-star becomes a top-7 pick. The question is whether Quinn left Texas better than he arrived. Unless we're pretending the Quinn from his first season and the Quinn from his final season were the exact same player, the answer is pretty obvious.
  3. Best of the year no doubt
  4. QE was perfect for Sark prior to the Dallas Turner hit against Alabama. Go back and watch the video. The 20 yard out across the field just before that hit was a throw only a handful of NFL guys could make. He was never the same after that hit.
  5. That is not the Arch we saw the second half of last season so we know he can play much better. Something has caused him to become apprehensive and play tight. Fear of throwing an interception? Not trusting his receivers to continue on the proper route? Expecting to get blasted by a 350 pound DT because he doesn't trust his OL? The overall pressure of everyone's expectations? Or all of that combined? I presume the team has a sports psychologist who can help him work through whatever it is.
  6. But i would like to know what other players are getting reps with the ones
  7. I hope this lights a fire under Arch’s a$$, today he said he’s gonna let it rip and he’s gonna die on that hill. I’m a big KJ fan though I do think he needs to hit the buffet a few times a week but for me I’m never not going to root for a kid going through adversity
  8. Even if KJ starts do you think Sark is going to walk into a press conference and say we are starting KJ. Also new guard or center? No doesn’t want Ole Miss to have anything!
  9. I really hope this doesnt end up like that Florida State fan on reddit who made a terrible bet.
  10. Did we try anybody else out along the offensive line yet?
  11. Best day yet. Really proud of how they practiced and they’re ready to go out and compete to a high level.
  12. Sark sees it. He may not want to and he may know 1,000,000% more than we do about why, but he sees it. Doesn’t mean it’ll translate, but man, after watching the Browne breakdown, the plays from Sark are there- it’s Arch.
  13. This video is why Gerry has been on this train longer than everybody else.
  14. I didn’t watch the whole thing, but what I did watch says KJ needs to start. It’s unfathomable how Arch is missing this many open WRs.
  15. Ewers struggled to stay healthy for the most part. He was always playing with something. Ewers usually started hot and could light teams up. His other main struggle was the deep ball which is a big part of Sarks offense. He was money in the short game and could move the chains.
  16. Don't ask, don't tell.
  17. Not a bad start of the season. We played Texas ball for 1 half but the 2nd half was a bit a mess. UConn's defense is legit but our young players were making a lot of defensive mistakes in the 2nd half. We also need to figure out who our playmakers are outside of Booker. Someone that can create good shots for others. Preston was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for more from her but she looked more like the same Preston from last year. Vic should push Clark to be a playmaker. She's got the fluidity to get by people and not just create her own shot. Vann also needs to create more. Cunningham looks in elite shape right now. We need her to play big minutes this year.
  18. 9ers trenches are blasting Washington off the LOS. Trenches win ballgames
  19. I understand this and do agree with it to some extent. But Ewers struggled in the same offense. He had some great games and then would have some really bad ones. So can we really say it's 100% just on Arch? I mean I can see what the video is saying and hell even what the all 22 is showing with guys open and all that. But I still hesitate to just say it's all Arch. Because if it's 100% on him, then what have they been teaching him and what has he been doing in practice?
  20. did they have a really good day of practice?
  21. Is that Baker and Robertson having a mid game therapy session?
