I think it's very possible that we underestimated regional pull for the players or even missing the playoffs this year. Allieggro and Peak stayed generally in the same region. The rest of the players stayed with their said team. Money has played a bigger role in retention than it has in acquisition which is something to note as well.

I dont think it is fair to say people who have doubts about the strategy this portal are doom and gloomers, specifically when it comes to oline. We can acknowledge that there is still time while recognizing that the mis-evals in the oline room and striking out on their top 2 targets (without a clear backup plan) is a big red flag. like you said time to fix, but we need 5 bodies. Need to close and nail the evals. The latter gives me more concern than the former.

Watching that game really crystallized how not dynamic our receivers were last year. Wingo, [redacted], Mosley, [TBD], Bishop, McCutcheon, Lockett, Kohen Brown, Chris Stewart. Should be significantly better in that regard.

Where would you say the talent level for this team is compared to the 2021 and 2022 teams

I wasn't able to watch the game. Like an idiot I planned a date. I just got home and watched it. Man, when they play like this no one will beat them. Justice was savage on the boards and scoring. Once she feels it, she's a big, strong girl who is not afraid to mix it up. Our two bigs were dominant. Oldacre is in much better shape this year and with her size and wingspan she's tough in the paint. I am sure she intimates most guards who try and score in the paint. Judd is a welcome addition. Tough, gritty and surprisingly good around the basket. She has tons of experience. Rori is Rori. Consistent badass! Sunday we face the big mouth yappers from LSU.

PI is rarely if ever called on a Hail Mary. That actually coupld’ve been DPI & OPI.
