Arbuckle after this week: I fell in to a burning ring of fire I went down, down, down and the flames went higher. And it burns, burns, burns the ring of fire the ring of fire.

Yes. Graduated in 2009. I graduated high school in 2002, so I get to use the Tommy Boy line, “A lot of people go to college for seven years” and it applies.

As a fan, it was 2005. The last coherent thought I had that day was knowing it was probably over on Jamaal Charles’ touchdown run. I fell through a porch later that day and don’t think I’ve touched Goldschläger since. As a media member, 49-0 in 2022. My buddy, who is a massive OU fan, texted me at halftime: ”This is your 63-14. Enjoy it.”

Ring toss is getting crazy.

Wow, RIP. @Jeff Howe did you attend/graduate from TSU (SWTS)?

Fran guided Texas State into being an FBS program. I’ll always appreciate him coming back to San Marcos during that transition.

My bet is that the OU wagon showed up this morning...

OU rediscovered the forward pass?

Jason Crenshaw Jr

His greatest achievement may have been putting GP in line at TCU. Also, aggie jokes write themselves. Always. RIP

OU has elected a new starter at qb?

It means OU’s hopes of getting a ring this year are going up in flames

RIP

Smoke looks black which means OU hasn’t elected their new head criminal yet

How does a ring toss catch fire?!

They’re just reminding everyone that it’s an OU “home” game

Mack gets too much slander, and I love that hes back around the University. Others may have a better analysis of his downfall but IMHO 09 broke him and put him in a funk. A sabbatical might have worked wonders. The OL was maybe the biggest negative indicator of losing the edge, and Saban being willing to flirt with us broke the camels back.

Some of the best driving in America is through Mississippi/Alabama/Georgia.

I was an Assistant Principal in Albuquerque when he was head coach at NM. He came by the school several times as he was recruiting one of our lineman. He was always very kind and mild mannered. I am sad to hear of his passing.

Any takers on what this means?

Plus now we have a Stoops so....
