Scraping past the worst team in the SEC by 3 points in OT, is not great and not a good indicator of future games agaisnt tough opponents. Miss State next week on the road, Georgia on the road, Vandy at home and even A&M. Hell, at this point Arky looks much better under Petrino, too. If we keep playing like this, the scoreboard won't be in our favour. It's not hard to understand why people are pissed off with the performance against Kentucky.

I guess this doesn't account for how bad they've looked on the road in all 3 road games, so there is that.

Also, if we follow the up/down play of this team. This week was down. Which means our remaining games should look like this: UP - Miss State, Georgia and A&M DOWN - Vandy and Arky Now who knows how it plays out, but you can only rely on your D so much. The O needs to put drives together and score points. 16 points and OT against Kentucky is unacceptable. I don't care if they played Georgia close last year or whatever.

Yeah i'm curious why Simon isn't getting any runs? Clark had a few decent runs, but Wisner had nothing and neither did Arch. A total of 37 yards rushing. Against one of the worst rush defenses in the SEC lol.

Texas is officially the up and down team when it comes to the offense. Why didn't we play James Simon? Why didn't we run the ball more? Why do blue basketball team schools embarrass us?

This came up during the Texas v Kentucky game today. Does anyone else think Sark is not as focused/obsessed on Texas football this year …maybe because of his family situation (being a new dad again, complications with the pregnancy and birth, etc, )??? not trying to make excuses for him, but we’re trying to figure out why this keeps happening to our offense?? This kid may not have played well tonight from a statistical perspective, but he didn’t turn the ball over and really didn’t put the ball in harm’s way even with all that pressure. All night long…AGAIN. That alone gave us a chance to at least make UK beat us straight up, which in the end they couldn’t do. I’m not sure another QB in the country would fare a whole lot better given what Arch has in an o line in front of him. That said he was off tonight and missed some easy throws to Wingo and Endries that would have extended drives and or put us in a position to score. That can get better, but only if Ardh is out there and continues to prove to everyone just how strong and tough he is. Look at that kid at the end of the game his arms and neck and tell me he doesn’t give you the best chance to win right now at Texas!!!

Agree!! That dude was beat UP tonight and still battled all the way through and thankfully we were able to come out with the win. It’s a roller coaster but it is for everyone right now. This is a week to week league. Arkansas took the Aggies to within 3 tonight and scored 42 points. All we can do is keep working and getting better and focus on winning the games in front of us any way we can.
