  1. Past hour
  2. Yup! I think it was @Gerry Hamilton that suggested Dekker’s Sue for damages after this whole Sorsby thing because his gambling paled in comparison to Sorsby. He’s not wrong at all.
  3. So if he was gambling at Indiana, wouldn't that be a crime for underage gambling? Didn't Hunter Dekkers get his eligibility taken for that? The legal age for gambling in Indiana is 21 and I highly doubt he was 21 as a freshman.
  4. A lot of people in college athletics USED TO have respect for Kirby Hocutt.
  5. At the 8:40 mark, Cody Campbell makes the statement: "They(Texas Tech) have a contract to not only pay him, but to play him. So how do we not play a kid when we're contractually obligated to do so and a court has ruled that he's eligible to play?" Maybe I'm flat out wrong but it would be shocking to me if NIL agreements actually contained provisions requiring a player to be given playing time. Coaches make lineup decisions all the time, and I can't imagine a contract legally obligating a school to put a specific player on the field.
  6. Hammond must be catastrophically bad in your head if you’re ready to blow, like you said, $6M on a one‑year rental who couldn’t even keep a job at Indiana. That’s not “building a roster.” That’s flailing.
  7. but when you have atwood, other Catchers aren't gonna wanna come and sit for 2-3 years.
  8. Atwood was the year before, I just want to know if she was offered out of high school.
  9. Great Freakin News!!!! 3 peat chances are climbing !!!!!
  10. Curious, was she not offered out of high school?
  11. The dangerous fallacy in all this is Tech’s separation of the disease from Sorsby’s responsibility for his actions. It’s a completely enabling mindset. If an alcoholic kills someone while driving under the influence, they don’t get to escape the consequences because of their addiction.
  12. They beat Abilene Christian by 1 point the last time the played. Wouldn't be shocked if Tech struggles with the weight of the college football world on their shoulders. I wouldn't be shocked if Tech has a really bad season, JV Joey isn't the type of coach that is going to rally the troops when things go bad.
  13. Catalon for me too I think. He did well at Mizzou after Texas.
