A steady presence in the safety or corner room would be nice. They’ve been exposed way too much for my liking. A downhill runningback, a wide receiver that can win in space and a road grader or two at guard.

Arkansas plays Texas, LSU and either Bama or UGA for the next four years. Even if they go 1-2 in those games, that’s pretty much a guaranteed 3+ loss season for the next 4 years unless a coach turns things around in a big way. Especially if LSU starts playing the way they can/should. Ark could get a coach like Cignetti, but that coach for sure won’t be blessed with the same schedule Cignetti’s been blessed with the last 2 years.

Give me Baugh at RB while we groom Cooper. 2-3 SEC starter quality interior OL 1-2 burner WRs who can create separation and take the top off a defense. Defer to others on our defensive needs.

Not really, they have manageable schedules and better histories than the other teams that are in their conference. They should be perennial contenders for the g6 spot in the playoffs next year on if either of them have close to a good coach

I think Ark is the worst just because of expectations. If you go 0-3 vs Texas with under 10 wins in your first 3 years you’re likely a goner. Hell 0-2 even if the losses are bad enough

I guess they aren’t technically P4 anymore but Oregon State and Washington State would be up there.

The only reason it was close is because we went cold in the second half. We missed open shots. Rori was on point and we needed her veteran leadership to pull it off.

Arkansas might be worse because Arkansas has a history of being a good football program and is one of those that will be very hard to ever be a contender. The fans yearn to return to being an “equal” of Texas but probably never will be (consistently).

Arky needs a Jerry Jones/Walton family type to do a Texas Tech for them.

Texas needs to land Cam Coleman or Ryan Williams. I have a feeling we will get Ryan Williams. I think you need to keep Wingo but if we lose a guy like Moore, Ffrench, Lockett, etc you need to do it I think you would want to retain Lockett. His upside is crazy. I think with Bishop coming in you can like with guys like Ffrench leaving. FYI I want to retain all of them.

Banks and Golden were first rounders. We weren’t going to compete with that. Ewers I could go either way on keeping. Arch is playing at a higher level than him now but perhaps we wouldn’t have dropped the Florida game with Ewers. Williams was a bit of a headcase it seems and couldn’t be talked (or money whipped) into saying because he viewed himself as a first round pick despite all advice otherwise.

There is a Freshman at Colleyville Heritage named Lane Vargas. He is going to be a national recruit. He beat Grapevine and threw 5 TDs as a freshman who got called up from JV. Best QB recruit from Colleyville since Cody Thomas and Christian Ponder. @Gerry Hamilton Keep an eye on him.

Justice Carlton is so much better this year. She had that injury and it takes time to heal. But her bounce is back. She's a big body and will bang on the boards. UCLA is not used to our defense and hustle. When Booker is on, fuggitaboutit!
