Do we actually know what Arch strengths are?
-
After watching 5 games it seems Sark’s pride is getting the way of reality. I love Arch but he doesn’t seem to be a good fit for his offense. I feel he is trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. This resembles the Vince Young situation back in the day. Mack had to adjust the offense to Vince’s strengths. When he did the offense blossomed and Vince became Vince. Sark needs to swallow his pride and adjust his offense to Arch’s strengths and quit trying to make Arch be someone he is not.
-
anyone who runs the wide zone, play action style offense with a mix of the spread. That would fit Sarks desire for heavy sets
-
Though Brennan Marion’s offense at Colorado has been bad, I think with the right tools, Sark could trust him!

I just don’t think he “sees the Field” at all. Whether it’s recognizing the blitz pre snap or being able to “throw people open” He just seems to never feel truly comfortable in processing whats in front of him. I’m not sure you can coach that. I’m not sure if it’s because he didn’t see many complex defenses in high school or what. But it’s pretty obvious Sark isn’t letting him or he doesn’t have the ability to change things at the line. I believe Sark is running his offense with a hand tied behind his back, but at the end of the day it’s on him to do something about it. -
The guy from UCLA is is the closest schematically from what I’ve seen and still want Sark doing the opening script

D. Moore and Parker Livingston's Impact on Arch

But Arch Manning is neither of those guys. While I hear your point, I'm not confident that what has been mentioned has not affected him. If it's not the receivers, did Sark completely change the scheme? Honestly, I'm not sure how to answer that either. We know Sark isnt helping him, but he didn't help him much last year it seems. All I'm saying is something is off with him... Until we know for sure, we don't know anything. -

At least they didn't put us on TNT or C-Span. -
Dang it. We really needed her depth. If Hosina has improved after redshirting that will help. Atute is a big body who can bang in the paint when Breya needs a breather. Injuries are the great equalizer. Right now South Carolina is loaded with a capital L. It will take everything in our power to beat them. LSU has a monster front court, along with speed at the guard position. Everyone is good in the SEC. Our freshman need to step up.

D. Moore and Parker Livingston's Impact on Arch

I don't mean this as a shot, but the idea that the 4th year quarterback isn't familiar with his 3rd year WR, 2nd year WR and one of the most talented WRs in the country does not mean a single thing to me. It's a poor argument. NCAA Passing leaders: 1. Oregon State QB Braden Atkinson ... first year at Oregon State 3. North Texas QB Tayven Jackson... first year at UNT 6. Virginia Tech QB Ethan Grunkemeyer ... first year at VT 7. Wake Forest QB Gio Lopez ... first year at Wake 9. Alabama QB Keelon Russell ... first year starter You either get it or you don't. -

Reminds me of the conversation that Florida had with Billy Napier last year. They told him he was struggling as a play caller. Napier with his ego and arrogance said: Im the play caller. Im not hiring anyone. It wasn't long after the fact that nothing had changed the Florida was forced to make a change. it is unfortunate. -

Maybe, but if they’re not familiar with one another and they’re still learning the offense it could still be that work in progress at game speed and against insanely smart and talented defenses. Definitely hear that about too many cooks in the kitchen. One voice, and don’t micromanage him. Also his uncles had multi interception games and were still pretty darn good -

Great Stuff Gerry! Spot On!!! Absolutely Spot On! And what is crazy is the fact that today there is a green dot allowing the Coach to communicate with the QB up until 15 seconds on the play clock and we still struggle. Can you imagine Manning playing 5 years ago without any communication? -

It could, but five games in it should not be an issue still. At the end of the day, I think he is being told not to run and take hits which is why we've seen the throws beyond the LOS and hesitancy. The hits in the past vs. Oho State 24, Texas A&M 24, and Miss State 25 have taken their toll on him. Additioanlly, the head coach/play caller and two other coaches on staff have a say on the quarterback. Part of me thinks there are too many cooks in the kitchen. Who does he actually listen to? Who actually gets through to him? right now it looks like all three are falling flat when it comes to getting through to him and developing him at the level he should be at. -

Chambliss and Echoles scare the hell out of me -
I don’t like the high expectations. Just seeing Miller up to be dog cussed and fired. Nobody knows what this team or what any of these teams will do. Just let them play the game, but then there would be a lot of people starving without being able to cover the sport. Also the coaches and players wouldn’t make the kind of money that they do. So in the end they deserve everything that comes with that. It’s a curse to be talented and elite at something, that only a few people on this Earth can do at a high level. Sorry Gerry, I just threw a tantrum. 🤘🏾 Hook Em. Championship season unloading.

I do wonder if Arch being out after foot surgery has impacted the passing game and their comfort and connection with all the new receivers? Also wonder if that is part of why Arch is running less and looking so indecisive at times? Cadillac Jameson what’re your thoughts?! -

Totally, CJ. I just wonder why he can't pull the trigger this year when there is an open look, or why it looks like he's not trusting what he's seeing, you know?
