I heard of a similar case/ player that had certain things paid for and it was mentioned that said player would most likely be held financially liable for those activities in order to be deemed eligible. I imagine it's up to the powers that be (Sankey/ courts) whether or not she would have to pay back anything. I think all of us have spent way too much brain power on this and I just want to see Texas on the field in a live game. Lol! Appreciate the friendly / professional banter on all this as we all want the same thing (minus a few trolls here and there). Hook Em!

JJR will play anywhere the coaches ask. Has played LB in the bowl if I recall correctly.

It wasn’t exactly a clean start for VY in Philly. Dealing with issues off the field. It’s actually pretty remarkable how much success he did have in the NFL given his lower work ethic and issues. Pure talent and love for the game/competition carried him further than most.

Apparently she the contract she signed was one that allowed her to keep her amateur status as it only paid for meals & lodging associated with traveling with the team but she wasn't paid a salary. Basically what our athletes got pre-NIL. This and the fact that she's never enrolled in an American university is what supposedly makes this different. Its not any different than Mantas Laurencikas being on the men's team.

Love the teammates that Baxter & Wisner were at Texas but as players they were JAGs in every sense (Wisner was a monster vs the aggys & sooners though).

I had the privilege and pleasure to sit in front of Jack and his wife Nancy for many years at DKR. I never had the heart to tell him that my favorite player was Saxton. I loved talking football with Jack. He was a real gentleman. 🤘🏻

Gardere was a junior when I got to Texas. Good guy and solid QB. Vince is on another level.... to everyone....
