Any update on the wide receiver pitt commitment? I want that kid apart of our class for the 10.3 speed alone -
we cannot look at any team’s offensive performance vs any defense as a predictor of our success. it’s shawn watson/tim beck bad this year.
-
Bad team, you mean. Nobody thinks Florida is bad this year

Love this post. I think this sort of mindset has cropped up since NIL and transferring, since now it doesn’t feel like kids playing a game. the constant negativity is getting exhausting. Criticism is fine, but only focusing on that all the time is draining. I can get caught up in it too. But expecting perfection isn’t realistic. We are in as good of a spot as anyone in the SEC and clearly have the talent and shown flashes. we just need to survive to December and put it all together then (see 2024 OSU)

No easy wins in SEC . Hoping we wake up to that someday. Do not see us beating LSU who is getting healthy as we lose player after player. Missou will be tough . Our D gives us a chance there.

Injury update on Kade Phillips | Sunday, 1:50 p.m.
Alex Butler replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I’m hoping a lot of these injuries are minimal and they were all kept out just in case because we felt we had the game in hand and didn’t want to push them back and risk injury for the home stretch. -

Mizzou- 20% we haven’t been good in early games, our weaknesses play right into their strengths. We have zero consistency running the ball. SEC road game LSU- 5% Death Valley with that talent and Lame Kiffin. Arkansas- 99% senior night TAMU 60% Kyle field at night with a chance to play spoiler and end a 2 game skid. -

Missou : 45% Texas 55% missou (concerned about O-line) LSU: 35% Texas and 65% LSU (concerned about O-line and special teams) Arky: 85% Texas 15% Arky they are just bad. A&M: 70% Texas 30% A&M…. We will be their Super Bowl. -
1-10 im at a 4 that Texas wins out, I give Texas the slight edge against Mizzou and would go to a 5 if Texas wins, I think LSU is truly 50/50 and would go up to a 8 if Texas wins, than Arky and The Billy cesspool University should be wins.

A source told OTF Texas CB Kade Phillips is dealing with a groin injury. He left Saturday night's 31-3 win over Mississippi State. “I think clearly, you guys all saw Graceson Littleton didn't finish the game," Sark said. "Cam Coleman didn't finish the game. Kade Phillips didn't finish the game. Hollywood Smothers didn't finish the game. Ryan Wingo didn't finish the game. So, all integral parts to the team. The severity of all those guys is unknown at the moment." We're told the groin has been giving him problems for a few weeks now, but not to the extent of keeping him from being able to play. It is unknown if he'll be able to play against Mizzou at this time. We'll see what the injury report states on Wednesday and how the week goes. We're told Phillips' intention is to play vs. the Tigers but again, we'll have to see how the week goes.

Watching volleyball gives me anxiety. It's the only sport that does that. I can't watch it. -
