  1. Past hour
  2. With the injury to Townsend, you never know who will step up.
  3. Agreed. I think it's also noteworthy that we've had various TE body types through that time. They haven't necessarily stuck to the plus 6'5" type TEs that most teams seem to stock.
  4. I hope Joey Freshwater’s syphilis/herpes/gonorrhea/explosive diarrhea flares up on the sidelines.
  5. Two games in and my biggest disappointment is lack of usage of Masunas as a receiver. No catches yet. I’m assuming he’s not gonna be the catching TE we thought he might be. I was expecting him to log 30-40 catches this year. Instead it looks more like TE by committee approach.
  6. Kiffin trying to play the underdog is just too much lol Give me Ole Miss by 2 scores! Also, do we think MSST can pull it off this weekend? Or does the downfall begin this weekend? Give me South Carolina by 2 scores as well.
  7. He’s such a tool I hope the Rebs smoke them this weekend!!
  8. The TE room overall just does their role well top to bottom. It's been a very well coached position group during Sark's tenure.
  9. I must admit that when we recruited winston as a TE, I was left scratching my head due to his size (6-1.5 / 230). I didn't doubt the recruiters, but it was just a bit odd to see such a short TE be recruited and project at that same position. All I could think is that he was an athlete, and this looks to be the case (I'm sure Gerry and the boys spoke to this previously in his recruiting). Dropped balls aside, he has shown tremendous drive with the opportunities he has been given. I'm curious to see how they will use him going forward, especially since I saw him line up in different sets as well as Sark's praise after the Ohio St. game of his ability to put his foot in the ground and get vertical. I know Townsend, Masunas, and Shannon will each have their own talents to bring to the field, but there's just something about Winston that makes me think he will contribute more to the team's success than what was initially thought (at least by me). Hook 'em! P.s., So proud of this team as a whole to embody the slogans/mottos used by the team (Tough all day, all gas, no brakes, Texas Fight, etc.). These were more than words on Saturday.
  10. Very impressive. If Cosmi keeps playing like this, he'll earn his first Pro Bowl selection (even though he probably deserved it in 2024 as well) and another, more lucrative contract extension.
  11. The great Longhorn OL play continued to Sunday
  12. Today
  13. If Oregon isn’t careful they might be the 2025 Penn state of 2026
  14. The environment in Oxford will be Knoxville 2021 on steroids, fully expect the unexpected
  15. LSU vs Ole Miss is can't miss TV. I think LSU's a juggernaut, need them to pick up losses somewhere. If they get through Ole Miss, their chances at playing for an SEC championship sky rocket. Really hope Ole Miss comes out on top, but I think Kiffin eats them alive.
  16. Oregon has to be one of the most disappointing teams in a long time. They have a lot of key players who returned and many think they have the best d line in the nation. They’ve given up 30+ to a G5 school and a bad Oklahoma State team.
  17. I think the Coogs shock the sand aggies. Kamario Taylor puts a nail in Beamer’s tenure. Ole Miss beats LSU. probably wishful thinking but a man can dream.
  18. Kind of unreal how low the spread is for UNC and Clemson
  19. Yep, they looked like they were looking for the QB run or toss play.
  20. This was what happened when Cig left JMU for Indiana.
  21. Watching a replay, I was surprised that all three of those runs on the goal line went right up the middle. I would have thought they would have gone behind Goosby and Coleman on the left side. Robertson's not known for his power, but he did the job on that last one. Also noticed that on the second and goal play, OSU had three guys coming around the left edge. They obviously thought Sark would try doing something wide, which has been his tendency. He went against his tendencies, as Rod has pushed for, and kept pounding the middle.
  22. I forgot he was on the Broncos tbh. I saw a pretty weak missed tackle on Walker by #22 and thought, hey at least it wasn't Jahdae. Turns out it was Jones lol.
  23. Can't ever read or see his name without thinking of the famous documentary https://texags.com/s/19482/on-an-island-being-brandon-jones
  24. After seeing Cignetti make the playoffs and then when a title with essentially JMU players and the right portal adds it isn't that crazy honestly.
  25. I'm not ready to push any panic button yet with Wingo (disclaimer: not implying you or anyone else is). He's not even close to what Alabama is, and has experienced with Ryan Williams with the drops. It's definitely in that young man's head now. Definitely get your point though and have to tighten that aspect up with the entire team. Might need to implement "the Program" movie tactic of carrying the football to class/ everywhere, lol!
