Texas has played but two SEC games so the sample size is smallest for Texas. We played two of the better defenses on a ypp basis and two of the less challenging offenses.

He will run through Friendswood pretty well. My Stangs don't have the team speed to deal with him. That's a 200+ yard game Angleton is the one that has a chance to hold him down a little, or make it most difficult

Brown has had his moments, but between him auditioning for “Dancing with the Stars,” getting blown up in pass pro, and lacking awareness of the chains, he’s been underwhelming imo. I still think Smothers is 1A and Cooper is 1B, but Cooper has a chance to become the workhorse back for this squad. Just give him the ball, Sark!

The thing I love about Cooper is he doesn't dance around, he makes a cut and explodes. I think Brown dances too much and Smothers doesn't have as much explosiveness as Cooper. Seems like they might need to give Cooper more of a run with Smothers. Use Brown sparingly.

He has three challenging teams in district. Iowa Colony, Angleton and Friendswood. He played South Oak Cliff and Westfield, both had really good defenses. Westfields was terrific against him keeping him out of the end zone. Randle won 3-0. South Oak Cliff, he rushed for 150 and 2 TDs. We will see how he does against Angleton who is ranked #4 in Division 5A. Randle is ranked #3. Friendswood is #10. He plays Angleton next week I believe, and Friendswood in 3 weeks.

Hope the OTF crew sticks to guys Texas has interest in and the late risers than can change a class from good to great. You start looking at recruits in washington state or maine alaska etc that there isnt a realistic shot at....the product gets really convoluted. Something to be said for high talent and highly developed vs kids that look great against inferior talent.
