That’s how you make a kid feel like a priority. Three days after he’s on campus show up to a shoot around with 4 staff members. -
They're all making fun of WWII. They're all veterans of WWII, so they can get away with it. Talk about freedom of speech. Arch can't do this.

55/45 OU/Texas. It was 70/30 a week ago. Dropping softball recruiting and baseball recruiting notes in a bit. -
Funniest thing I've ever seen. You couldn't put this on TV today. "Did you ever get the feeling that the world was a tuxedo and you were a pair of brown shoes?"

50-50 would be my guess. Doesn’t hurt that Texas is the reigning back-to-back national champions and arguably the best pitcher in college softball (and back-to-back WCWS Most Outstanding Player) heading into the 2027 season plays for Texas and is also from the state of Iowa. - Today

Trevor Goosby named Outland Trophy Player of the Week

But I thought Flood is a terrible OL coach. I mean, Goosby said he wasn't that good when he was recruited. How is this even possible? I feel like I have been misled by many posters on this board. -
That's some lofty standards you have there given that this recent Texas game will probably go down as a game of the year and all-time greatest comebacks in college football history with an estimated 14 million TV viewership but to each their own. 😂🤘🤣

I did take some satisfaction that Sanchez was guarding wingo on arch’s first td and bishop on the pass interference call (soft). and masunas got a nice block on pettijohn on the goal line.

Even though he covers Oklahoma softball and not Texas softball, he does a great job of breaking down her game. -
Morning update: 53 boards are in for Hold the Mayo. Without giving any spoilers, a few things the boards say so far: There are 34 different slates across 53 boards. The most popular one is shared by 8 people. Only 1 game is a coin flip. Bobby, Gerry, Hank and CJ have all played, and they only agree on 6 of the 11 games. Good stuff!

I read that Pettijohn’s mom is an alumnus of OSU. I believe it said she was a top end athlete for them. May have said that dad went there also. But you’re correct, he had no interest in coming here and was also way going there.

@Gerry Hamilton Got more Ger. Gemini AI search: Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are universally recognized as the two greatest 1v1 basketball players in history, with each quoted as saying the other is only who could possibly beat him 1v1. Because 1v1 basketball relies purely on isolated scoring, defensive stopping, and individual willpower, these two guards mastered the exact skills needed to dominate without teammates. -
