  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah nobody who has a national seed locked up is playing their dudes in that tourney. Us especially after we lost our ace.
  3. I have about an 80 gallon barrel pit smoker I welded out of eight gauge steel. It's a single stack three inch adjustable smoker. I'm using a mixture of oak and cedar to smoke sausage from the wild hog I killed last week.
  4. I loved watching Vasher play football. He was electric. As for the question, I would never be able to decide. There are too many options. I wonder what @Rod Babers thinks?
  5. Surprised nobody said Deshon Elliott. His 2017 season was something else. Also got robbed of the Thorpe award that year.
  6. Never knew a Laker fan could despise the Mavs of all teams more than the Celtics, Spurs, Warriors, or Kings lol
  7. Dirk isn't even a top fifty player.
  8. Awesome question and many right answers. Ross and Huff I think jump out for be bc they have many big plays and team was great at that time. Jammar, Vasher, Mike Griffin. Earl was great for us and on the list but 1 play stands out that probably moves him to Tier 1b for me. Rod B, Barron next for me.
  9. Given that Dirk was doofus, yes. But at least Dirk wasn't a fat boy.
  10. Huff—Overall body of work at Texas, Thorpe Award, National Championship, 4th down stop, legendary status (see #7 getting passed down), still at Texas, etc ET—Texas Tech and leaving after his sophomore year I don’t think anyone would argue that ET didn’t have a better NFL career, but as far as Texas is concerned… Huff has to be on there. I had more trouble with leaving Vasher & Jammer off
  11. So because Earl was so good he gets punished for only being at Texas for 3 years and leaving early to be a top 15 pick?
  12. I think Huff produced more/put up the better body of work while at Texas. Earl was more talented and did better in the NFL, but had a shorter and less accolade-filled career than Huff
  13. For those of you who have chosen Huff, why? Earl is clearly the best safety in school history.
  14. Today
  15. Fans are supposed to be biased. Critical fans never contribute to a winning culture in my opinion.
  16. I have a feeling this list will get much harder to make in the next 5-10 years.
  17. Impossible question to answer when you ARE DBU. Begin with Bill Bradley, the Campbell twins, to Jerry Grey. Can't be answered.
  18. Safety: Earl Thomas Corner: Quentin Jammer Nickel: Aaron Ross OR Jahdae Barron
  19. One more question that I've been thinking about....Is there another school across the country that's made a bigger positive turnaround over the past 4 years in all aspects of the football team? Culture, Winning, Recruiting, NFL Draft, Coaching Stability, etc.? No other team comes close. Several teams were already really good and new coaching staffs kept the party going (e.g. Day at Ohio State, Lanning at Oregon) but Day is going to be challenged this season with a much younger team and new coordinators on both sides of the ball. Acknowledging massive bias, but I don't see any other teams across D1 with this kind of incredible turnaround in all aspects of the team over past 4 years. I hope we are able to keep Sark for the next dacade plus, similar to Saban at Bama. May be wishful thinking but his talents translate extremely well at the college level and there's no better job than the 40acres. Hook em!🐂 🤘🏼🧡
  20. HOW YALL LIKE THEM APPLES?!?!?! APPLESAUCE, @Joe Zura
  21. Does Texas rest their arms - Volantis, maybe Grubbs and Rojas given they have locked up the SEC? I think they are a lock for a top 8 seed. Maybe sit Jonah to keep hammy healthy.
  22. The Horns achieved the national #1 ranking in football, baseball, softball, women’s basketball, won the national championship in swimming, and defended the national championship in volleyball.
  23. Last 25 yrs , who produces more NFl safety’s? UT If I want a safety, which state produces more nfl safety’s than any other state? Texas Last 30 yrs how many of UT safety’s were drafted or made the nfl roster? What makes the state of Texas so special for safety in college Over the last 30 yrs, which conference produced the most nfl safety’s . My opinion: ~ emergence of 7 on 7 ~Coach Leach revolutionized passing ~ gave rise to complex passing schemes down to jr high high school ~ iron sharpens iron no state produces more ready to go QBs WRs than state of Texas ~ if u were a b12 safety during the last 30 yrs, u had to be a field general, tested every single day in practice and in games…..those players came from Texas homegrown! my two cents Greetings From Colombia
  24. Very tough question… At Texas: Huff, Ross, and Barron
