  1. Past hour
  2. Lord almighty! What 17-18 year old is saying no to that? Lol. Dream come true for the young buck and a good paycheck to go with it. Best of luck to him.
  3. Today
  4. Martial arts is about self defense, discipline and harnessing your talent to be the best you can be and help others. If you ever go to a jiu jitsu, wrestling , boxing camp you will absolutely be humbled and improve as a human being. These aren't thugs, in fact thugs get humbled quickly in the fight game.
  5. Not only nice seeing the Lakers destroy the Mavs summer league team, but Arthur Kaluma making Morez look like a chump.
  6. You wrote that like the board asked you to testify before the Parenting Commission. Nobody’s kids are becoming delinquents because someone watched a prelim.
  7. Bold strategy to be equally loud and wrong
  8. I agree but if he had a sprain which is a partial tear he's an absolute moron for throwing that kick. I think he was healthy and envisioned throwing that kick to prove to everybody he's healthy and unfortunately at his age he can't do the things he used to be able to do. Everybody has wear and tear but his knee exploded on that landing for sure. Whether it was somewhat compromised you may be correct, but it definitely went out big time on that silly attempt. He was watching too much world cup. If he was hurt I think he would have used his hands to take off his shoes. Taking them off by stepping on the back heel is a no no when you're hurt.
  9. I get the cope and wanting any good news after the gut punches of Bumila and Peterson. But Blake has been saying all along that the whole HS class will for sure make it to campus with the exceptions of Emerson (obviously) and Harris (not likely) and the open questions around Bumila and Peterson. Whether the rest of our HS class announces they're "removing themselves from the rest of the draft" (which is new and weird) or not, they're in the bag. Not news, nor am I celebrating.
  10. I agree, but......Fighters almost never enter a camp - or a fight --- at 100%. If Holloway had a nagging knee issue before the fight, that’s normal. If he then tweaked it worse in Round 1, that’s also normal. Those two things don’t contradict each other at all. I'm not saying he came into the fight with an injured knee - but others are saying it. I just questioned this
  11. I hope Colin Simmons gets calls the way Argentina does this year. But good lord the Semi-Finals are juggernauts. Makes waiting for real football so much easier.
  12. Doesn't seem true, he blew it out on the landing on the opening kick. ACL and mcl with meniscus is my guess
  13. many are saying he injured his knee going into the fight ?
  14. Always! We will start one for 330 when the time comes. And lol…. My oldest “degenerate” (I think that was the word used on page 1) watched it with me. 🤷‍♂️😂
  15. You just jinxed it lol.
  16. Rogan just did a great breakdown on the kick and what exactly went wrong. He’s perplexed but you can tell all three of those guys are disappointed as can be… as are all UFC fans. At least my other guys won. I went 5 of 5 tonight on ML.
  17. Thanks to Blake for taking the time to put up the thread and keep it running! Ignore sour, intolerant Grandpa, lol. I think he is off his meds.
  18. Agreed. I've done 3 acls and an achilles even if you work your ass off you can't compete in the game of survival anymore at the highest level. His body will break again competing against the best. I give him a lot of credit for trying.
  19. We probably won’t ever see him fight again. I hope I’m wrong. This just sucks.
  20. guess damage beats volume every time.
  21. Holloway is a class act. I hate this for both of them. Blowing your right knee out like this after all this anticipation…..
  22. Coming back after ALL that time off just to have another injury is heartbreaking
  23. That’s so disappointing man. I hate that.
  24. Rogan saying the first kick is when he hurt himself.
