  1. Past hour
  2. Asking tough questions has zero effect. It’s just for fans. Coaches are going to do what coaches do.
  3. Kirby is a gigantic douche bag. Speech or no speech. Do I wish he were our coach? If he lost the visor, yes.
  4. Agree 💯. CJ only reporter in room that actually asks the tough questions.
  5. I wish sark had this type of fire
  6. Not a chance, go listen to the OSU half time speech. It was Becton having to lead that charge. Sarks words sounded like he was addressing junior high kids, Teams take on the personality of their head coach, and there’s a reason Saban and Kirby win at the level they do. Their programs are built on toughness and relentless intensity. Texas’ offense consistently lacks those qualities, and that starts at the top. You can’t expect a team to play with an edge when its own coach doesn’t demand it.

  7. The idiots who triggered over a pissing dance who lose their minds over this.
  8. Teams have a blueprint for how to beat Texas. Stack the box, apply different pressure packages because they know arch isn’t gonna run , now he’s standing like a statue in the pocket. He had five rushing touchdowns this time last year, he has zero now. His legs used to be a weapon, that’s been taken away from him. Other teams see that, now they can be more aggressive wit blitz packages. They know arch will occasionally hit the long pass downfield, but so inconsistent. They’re rolling the dice and it’s worth it. Since Texas leads the SEC in no converting third down conversions, they’re not able to play complementary football, so the defense is on the field extensively longer than they should be and tiring down in the third and fourth quarter as we saw against Oklahoma, as they were able to start running the ball and getting passes connected for longer gains because of less pressure.
  9. With our offense, why would any top wr come here? We added 4 all conference transfers this year and still our offense gets worse.
  10. There’s just some juice Kirby’s teams have that make me jealous. Some of our wine and cheese fanbase would call this classless lol
  11. Gerry said it perfectly on coffee & football a few weeks back. Arch was never the type of player that Sark typically recruits at QB, but nobody was gonna turn down a Manning. Now that chicken has come home to roost. The sark and arch experiment has run its course. These 2 just don’t mesh. I fully put special teams issues on Sark, though. Banks should’ve been left in Dallas. 2025 version of Ryan Niblett single handedly bought him an extra year.
  12. Compared to Sark 😂😂😂
  13. Smart and Day know that a big part of college football (not NFL) is emotions and getting young men fired up. i’ve said it before on this forum and it was ridiculed for it but contrast the game day styles of Day versus Sark. Day is running up and down the sidelines, yelling at guys and refs, and extremely hands on. Sark is quietly taking notes and reading his play sheet. The latter is what you want from an OC, not a HC. The team adapts the personality of its coach and it’s why I believe we often come out flat and stay that way for most games.
  14. I’ve had all the same thoughts. The consistent underwhelming performance of the QB position and offense during his entire tenure is frustrating to say the least.
  15. King of the hill and well deserved.
  16. Could anyone imagine California Sark giving a speech like this?
  17. I can’t stand Kirby or Georgia or their “Go Dawgs” fan base, but he is 100% a bad ass head coach. The ultimate maximizer of talent and situational football. And to your point a true belief in a physical power run game. The complete opposite end of the spectrum from the finesse scheme and undisciplined football that Sark deploys.
  18. Good read Gerry. I wonder how much of Arch's lack of development is what they are asking him to do? It seems like he is uncomfortable in the pocket even when he has time to throw, not reading the field or receivers not getting open, I don't know. Maybe slow developing routes are the problem? He has trouble hitting receivers in stride when they are crossing the field in front of him. We don't have an effective RPO game when that seems like it is something Arch should excel at. How many times have we run a true RPO where Arch pulls the ball and made significant yardage? The guy just looks uncomfortable out there to many times. It's frustrating.
  19. This is like watching the Nick Saban documentary all over again This really is what being the most physical football team is all about in a game in which physicality at the highest levels are required
  20. Almost 4,000 tickets added to stubhub this morning for Florida game. Sark might be on that James Franklin exit if the defense doesn’t start scoring points on their own.
  21. Said this last season but kind of a joke at this point that Milwee is the QBs coach. He helped recruit arch but has zero leg to stand on as the qualifications to be QBs coach. Just another yes man sark can wield power over.
  22. I get what you are saying, but both can be true. You can 100% accurately evaluate Arch right now. QB innate feel, instincts and in game quick decision making this season has a lot of opportunities and trends.
  23. Great post and unfortunately a very raw look at where Arch is as a QB and this Offense is under Sark. You have to look at the trends and we have been trending down for 4 years now on the offensive side of the ball without any introspection from our HC/OC. He’s not even willing to consider an alternative. His ego will ultimately cost him his job at this rate. Not sure what you do with Arch but he is an absolute head case, not sure if he has a mental performance coach but the kid needs one badly. He simply isnt processing things fast enough which leads to very poor decision making. If Texas doenst have the VR system that Jaydon Daniel’s was using at LSU they to immediately get it. Defense is good enough to keep us in games but not sure that’s enough with this schedule. With all the money spent on this team the offense and special teams will cost us a playoff spot.
