ATM New Track Coach - Burrell
Burnt Orange Horn replied to Arch2025's topic in On Texas Football Forum
"I just don’t need information concerning the aggies, ou, or any other school not named Texas." Any truly cognizant Longhorn fan wants to know what its rivals are doing in coaching, facilities and athletes. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿 -
Not much info on track program. Anyone on here know if we have upgrade in talent coming in?
-
I want to thank the OP for the info. This is the first I had heard this news. For those who want only UT news I say this…you can be annoyed at atm or hate them (as all sane people do) as much as you like but keeping informed of what our long time foe does is important. We need info to stay ahead of an ever growing crowd that hates us and celebrates every loss and setback.

Definitely sucks. So sad he couldn’t enjoy his retirement.

Watched my dad wither away within a year after his ALS diagnosis right after he retired. Only in my mid 30’s now and wish he was still here to create more memories with.

Haha of course!

This is just another Cody PR stunt. This show will certainly gloss over the entire Sorsby incident as well their tampering in a variety of sports.

One of my dear friends died of ALS. It's a horrible disease. The body fails but the brain is good.

I'm sure it'll be riveting when they get around to talking about Texas Tech having four 10-win seasons in the last 50 years.

Giving them even more attention they are so starved for. I don’t like it. I’m hoping it shows how they fought so hard for Sorsby because they cared about his mental health. Then when he couldn’t help them, they ditched him as fast as they could. - Today

2026 Women's Softball Thread
chennups replied to LonghornFan4Ever's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I will say that i am now of the opinion that college softball is more exciting that college baseball. The smaller field means more HRs and the potential for infield (slap) hits. The dominance of previous pitchers used to make the games pretty boring because nobody was getting on base. Also, the shorter games make each inning and at bat more important and there's less breaks for pitching changes to specialists (someone coming for one lefty batter or the set up man and closer). I also like how there are some transfers but a lot of 4-year players (reese atwood, stewie, kavan, vicky martinez, goode, etc). You really get invested in the team. Baseball still has a bit of the mercenary feel with players coming in for one year and then leaving for the draft (although that could change i guess with recent proposals from MLB). Softball has evolved so there is more hitting and offense now as well. There is also a premium on good defense as we saw in the CWS where errors and mental lapses can cost you. Finally, the potential of a run rule is also fun to watch--i wish we could have run-ruled Tech in Game 3 last year! But happy that we won two years in a row now! Hook 'em. -
