To go from the Horns to the Bulls is pretty cool. And I love burnt orange but tough to beat the Bulls red and black. stoked for him. -
The World Cup is so freaking awesome. Had so much fun watching Cape Verde vs Argentina.

Texas is not at the A Level of SEC baseball funding. Texas is more like B trying to get to the B+ level. Under Pearce they were at C-.
-
LSU has a sugar Daddy donor for baseball. His name escapes me. Pearce had to distribute his 11 baseball scholarships across the whole squad to minimize tuition fees. Paul Skenes was very interested in pitching for Texas when he left the USAFA. LSU blew the Texas offer out of the water.
-
Haha what kinda take is this? Do you not think they weren't absolutely recruiting him like hell? Your burnt orange classes are ridiculous. Schloss and Marder got out recruited. Stop sugar coating sh*t
-
I agree with this. We had to have kept some powder dry for something else. I refuse to believe that Texas baseball is broke and doesn’t have something up their sleeve.
-
England will find a way to lose later in the competition. Mexico doesn’t have a Harry Kane to save them.
-
I think they have some good portal additions. Still looking for some additions by the looks of it. My guess is they didn't want to overpay for Laya and leave themselves empty handed for other targets. My guess is they spent a bit of their NIL on retention, too. We'll see how it plays out but I don't think the sky is falling because we lost out on Laya.
-
If Laya were all that I'm sure Marder would have influenced axl way to make it happen. Its not like he's Skenes. Moving on.
-
Curious where we pivot to from here. I know the coaches have a plan.

No way Colombia loses to Switzerland
-
Colombia is so much better than Ghana.
-
For some reason, a lot of the Aussie fans were at watch parties in Texas, instead of at the actual game. Not really sure why tbh lol.
-
If our coach can’t get 1 million from donations or a donor alone it’s pathetic and should be able to get 6 with the history and connection Texas has. If LSU can do it so can Texas
-
I went to the game. Honestly, I expected Australia to have more supporters. The ones that showed up, represented well, but it seemed like it was 75% Egyptian supporters.
-
Mexico playing at Azteca is very tough. Historically, England finds ways to lose also. I'll take Mexico at home.

Baseball portal is open
Assistant Regional Manager replied to THookem's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Dude. Everything is proportional. Do you not realize how massive it is in a sport like baseball to get $1+ million directly from the university in rev share at a place like LSU or A&M? That is almost 20% of your roster budget you don’t have to “energize” from your donors. Do not try to say Texas adding outfield seating for a regional proves there is institutional commitment for baseball. There is a difference between that and giving the program actual dollars for the roster. You know that. I’m going to go enjoy the rest of my Friday night. Hopefully Jim Schlossnagle calls me later to get me energized for the season.
