You can have a Grade 1/low-grade high ankle sprain and gut through after a week or two. That's a stable ankle and not painful walking a lot of times. Straight forward movement can be okay after about a week, but it comes down to plant and COD cut Grade 1/low-grade high ankle sprains can be 1-3 weeks depending on healing.

Kind of. A mild high ankle sprain takes 6 weeks to heal, a more severe one can take 3 months or more. I doubt he'd be jogging 5 days after any variety.
