This is interesting in that I believe I only see 6 SEC schools among the schools ranked & receiving votes. Women's soccer is a lot more ACC & rando schools around the country focused than most other D1 sports. In a 5/5 and NIL environment - schools like Texas should be able to excel by finding kids that overachieve as FR/SO around the country, and then want to make some $ and get a more recognizable degree. Good luck to Coach Bates & the ladies! Let's hope Texas Soccer finally gets to where it should have been since Day 1 !

Those are the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 V6 amp. 723939-800. Never worn. $110 MSRP. They're from 2015 - have just been sitting in my collection since then. Texas does custom colorways w/ logos for the big schools with their amp shoes - so there are Ohio State, Oregon, etc versions floating around out there, too. These are Charlie Strong era - maybe you've blocked it out of your mind 🙂 I'd do like $50 + ship if you're interested on those.

I posted the updated scholarship caps per sport above. Thanks to crew roster capacity more than tripling, as well as soccer & softball doubling -- Texas actually has more scholarship slots for female than male athletes. Whether they choose to fill all of those is a different story - but the increases in baseball & football are potentially offset by crew, soccer & softball.
