2 Tickers to TX vs Ole Miss + Parking Pass
Pwood replied to Pwood's topic in On Texas Football Forum
This section is next to the student section, which can be quite entertaining 😳 -
2 tickets to TX vs Ole Miss plus a Parking Pass. SeatGeek market price is $580 for both ($650 for the buyer) - those prices seem high to me given the current state of things. I’d rather sell to a Texas fan, even if for less money. The pictures show the garage & a picture from our seats. Make me an offer 😬 Section 15, Row 37 Parking: State Garage R

Hope the team handles adversity better than this site and fans. Criticism within the sphere of trying to sort out what’s going on is fair play. It’s intense brainstorming which can be cathartic. Sky is falling stuff is silly. Overreacting either way to alright, alright, alright guy is… -

I have been wondering about the Sark/Flood issue. I believe i mentioned this in another post, but when I was cursing Flood for the horrible OL, I never thought that it could possibly be Sark requiring something different or elaborate of him for his scheme-you know, just too complicated to teach all of the "ifs and thens". This is wild speculation and I have no clue, but it is possible. They made it work at bama because The GOAT was running the show. But, for all I know, Flood may have lost his edge with all that money and clocking out at 5pm -

In my tldr, I'd say - Fans gotta play all 4 quarters as much as the team does on the field. The team needs them and their energy to thrive. Pep rally speech. -
Poll: Is it Sark or Arch or something else

The more I look at it the more glaring it becomes. He was great in 24, why? He had a competent line and senior center that wasn’t allowing pressure at all record setting level so he could see the field and read the defense without the worry of getting his head taken off or having to take his eyes off the play because there’s a massive defensive lineman barreling at his face. -

Yea I don’t think that data looks very valid. -
How much does Texas miss Jake Majors for the second year in a row, very under appreciated player for his time at Texas. In his last two years as a starter Texas had a top 25 offense. Now the Eagles starting center When Sark was the primary play caller at Alabama he had Landon Dickerson. Who obviously has moved to guard and been a great player in the NFL. Coach Sark’s other top 25 offense he had the late Max Turek as his starting center who was a third round pick. If a knee injury doesn’t hurt his development he could’ve been a consistent starter for the Chargers. Tackles get all the flash but center is the most important position under Sark. You gotta look at Robertson and flat out say it’s not good enough and roll someone else out there.

Those are some very good points. I hope he is able to get his head straight, because he seems like a great kid. I know this is all eating him up. I can’t imagine what he could be going through mentally. Are you more leaning towards the side of at this point in his career that if this is how it plays out again tomorrow, he may just not be as good and may do better going to a lower-level school? It’s just so hard to understand exactly what is wrong, and that’s what I hate about how things have transpired. Because ultimately, Sark is the head coach, and if this isn’t the type of offense that works with Arch, he should’ve realized that before this year and tailored it more to what he does well. But I can’t argue with what you’ve been saying about Arch as a player, in any way really. Crap offensive play calling or not, there are things he should be doing that even in a stale offense would work well with even mildly average quarterback play.

One Burning Question: Where is Gerry?

Arch and the system/Sark are two different convos. Arch, specifically, is playing the QB position at a woefully bad level despite having three NFL level WR’s around him. He’s making head scratching QB plays that are 7th grade level, and he’s not processing and he’s also been bad in the pocket this year. Throwing the ball beyond the LOS 2 times in a game - never seen that before on any level of football. Doing that in back to back games - never seen that before. His melt down is among the worst I’ve ever seen. That’s not putting all the offensive woes on him, but a lot of it is. Without quality QB play, an offense has zero shot. IMO, he’s leaving 125’ish yards on the field every game and 10-14 points . Never seen a fourth year QB not be able to be trusted to check in and out of bad plays, and have command of the offense before.
