  1. Past hour
  2. That’s wild! But if the ask for Cam is around $1 mil, what can we really hope to see as a replacement level? Scouting the lowest levels for depth is going to have to be at its best for Ballers on a Budget!
  3. Other sites reported Camara arrived yesterday and stays through Saturday. Can you confirm?
  4. Texas OL signee Nic Robertson was on campus yesterday. He'll enroll next month.
  5. Agree 100%. But what if the agent then asked for around 1 mill? Wild times in the portal!!!
  6. Of note, a source inside the program tells OTF that 4-star safety Semaj Stanford -- who's set to announce a decision on April 23 between Texas, Georgia, and Oregon -- is expected back either this weekend or next weekend.
  7. What kind of sausage is that? I grew up with dad grilling leg quarters, burgers, and occasionally hot dogs too. I don't ever recall a steak being grilled. However, I have some steak and some leg quarters in the fridge right now. 🤣
  8. Texas will play host to another big recruiting weekend with the Longhorns set to scrimmage on Saturday. OTF will be keep you updated in this thread with all the latest buzz we're hearing coming out of the Forty Acres. 9. He probably got tired doing modeling work for the Coop online
  10. The GLASS is always greener on the other side....until you realize it’s just the reflection of the transfer portal's magic mirror
  11. Today
  12. You can’t be mad. Just wish them well and try to bring in a better player
  13. Can't wait to see the status of Buckyball in a couple years.
  14. I'm excited to see the watch for their "tied for 4th place finish despite being picked 13th" in SEC for basketball
  15. It seems the key here is that locker room dynamics have more to do with this than NIL. The money in WCBB is nothing compared to football or MCBB.
  16. The best way I have found to follow Texas sports is to not get in love with any one player. In the age of pay to play your roster is going to be 50-75% new each year. The top few will be getting most of the money and the bottom 2/3 think they should be getting paid like the top group and it’s just not going to happen. It can’t happen. There’s only so many dollars to go around and you are definitely going to keep your best players.
  17. This stuff goes with the sport. If you consume the sport, you must take it as part of the investment.
  18. Well you're assuming that the players would share facts that potentially make them look bad and undesirable to schools. Like I said, I think both the school/coaches and players have probably decided or agreed to not talk about it and just move on. In the end, what's done is done and I'm more interested in who we're replacing them with. Lots of good choices out there.
  19. When your a role player and will never sniff even the euro leagues, NIL is your ticket to getting ahead in life. Spitballing the #'s here, but if TX wants you to stick around for $250K and your agent says we can get you + $100K you go.
  20. Yes and No, if I’m at another school and I want those players to jump in the portal I’m going to get that information leaked to the media. That’s just the world we live in now days.
