Florida Recruits

Too many good Florida jokes this week -
It appears we are having our d-line penetrate more this year. With such elite edge rush, I would prefer for them to hold gap integrity better and create a smaller pocket. It is rather irrelevant so far this season, but worries me against teams such as OU, UF, and UGA. with qb's that can buy time by manipulating the pocket. @Jeff Howe Am I crazy for focusing on this?

25-26 Director's Cup Thread

Would hope you are right but at least the men’s ball team got points for the tourney last year. This years soccer team adds zero points. Stanford football is irrelevant but their women’s soccer team is number 2 in the country - Today

@Blake Munroe I had meetings this morning and am listening about 10 minutes behind. Next time you have Coach Erwin on, could you ask him about people who are stunningly suggesting that Coach Flood be replaced (which is so absurd I snickered in disgust actually writing this). I have a feeling Coach Erwin's response would be OTF gold....

38-0. I’m in “I’ll believe it when I see it” mode with the offense.

A lot to a little

52-7 Texas

This will go down as maybe the worst take of the 2025 football season hahah

Texas 28, SHSU 7. Gotta believe it to see it.

25-26 Director's Cup Thread

Not impossible, remember men's bball last year didn't give much if any points at all. A lot will ride on the performance of the other required sports which is where Texas makes up a lot of points against Stanford because their required programs haven't been as good lately. -

For the non-revenue sports, CDC's playbook has been to let the contract finish and not renew, so would depend on how much time is left on her contract imo. Last few years were good but not great, very much similar to softball's Connie Clark. Good when they have generational talents but could not be perennial championship contenders. -
What an ironic post. Enjoy your day.

The big humans need to start playing like they want it. -
I simply go by what happens on the field. Our oline lacks playing strength. Stroh is a great example. Keep hearing he is one of the strongest in the weight room but it doesn’t translate to the field. Little punch and has terrible balance. Baker is pretty often in the right place but over powered fairly consistently. Hutson doesn’t seem to move folks after all these years of folks wanting him to replace ole faithful and so on. Some areas seem okay so maybe we need an Oline specialist 🤷🏽♂️
