  1. Past hour
  2. There’s a difference between celebrating recruits and constantly selling fans on how loaded this roster is. It’s “BOOM!” all offseason, praising evaluations, development, and depth. Then yesterday Bobby says there isn’t a single great player on offense, including Smothers. So which is it?
  3. And yet if Arch can't run the offense he's calling and we don't expect him to give up play calling during the season...if you keep doing the same thing and expecting different results...well...you know what that's the definition of.
  4. Marcus what would you do now as far as a play caller? AJ? Postseason yeah a full reboot. But what now. I’m lost. Respect you a lot
  5. We are tough soldiers brother. Trust me I never wanted to be right about it either
  6. Sikorski has played better than I expected him to. Center to RG to RT seems to be our weakness this season as opposed to last season which was more C / LG. Common denominator is C and zero depth to replace starters who aren’t getting it done.
  7. There's a reason @Joe Z and myself have been 10 toes down on this for a few years. Got Quinn killed and now Arch
  8. Will say this on OL. Tenn. made Keelon Russell look very much like Arch yesterday. I was amazed. If OL can not block, you are screwed. We have not figured out how to handle extra rusher up the middle yet. UTSA started it and everyone is going with it. Ole Miss D looked good against Missou. Saturday could be really ugly if we don't change system. Thought it was huge coaching blunder with 14 point lead to go for it on fourth and short at mid field with the history of our failures to pick up and give them short field to score . I am to the point of being in favor or starting entire second unit. Do not see how it could be worse but with OL play we have now, could destroy young QB confidence. We are just not that talented on Offensive side of ball. Yesterday was amazing day in college football. Never seen that many ranked teams, many in top 10 go down same day. Nuts. Can we say parity.?
  9. He made several starts. It wasn't mop up duty.
  10. I agree with everything he said. I have always defended Sark but I now see he needs to step down as OC. Tillman’s comments on Arch are spot on as well.
  11. 💯 and you’re not wrong. None of this is new and all of the problems should have been addressed but it’s gonna be real interesting to see what changes are made next week. if we lose to Ole Miss or LSU then it’s gonna get ugly but if we lose to both then the season is a complete failure….. and that’s on Sark’s shoulders as well as the players on offense.
  12. I agree we are in between a rock in a hard spot and curious to see what we do and how what changes and adjustments are made
  13. Of course we are gonna hype up a recruit cause we hope each one actually makes a difference here but it’s crazy to slide that jab in on OTF for doing a good job with what we are given. It’s not anyone’s fault here that the player “with a lot of potential” doesn’t live up to the “hype”
  14. That's the scary part. We've reached the halfway point in the season and it's gotten worse from game to game. There's not much time left to figure it out and none of these issues are new ones.
  15. Was worried it was an Achilles the way he hit the ground and grabbed his ankle. Reminded me of JGray when he had that injury.
  16. I wish I had the answers for you @Jbro52. There's got to be some type of significant shift bc what is being trotted out there is not working. Sark, IMO, is a great play designer that doesn't have many answers beyond the opening script that show continuity, easy answers and things that put his offense (and defense, for that matter) in the best position to win.
  17. Well said Marcus, and glad Tillman all that cause coming from former players I would hope makes Sark listen a little bit compared to all the noise from social media I’m sure gets relayed to him at times. there’s no way we should be struggling this bad on offense this year. It’s time for him to look in the mirror and figure this crap out or it’s gonna be a really rough/sad year for us
  18. And I don't think Tillman was truly saying it NEEDS to be Flood. Just that it has to change from what it's been to this point.
  19. It’s unfortunate because I think we were all gaslit into thinking that Flood would be better with better personnel.
  20. Called no pressure, QB1 a lot different than QB coming in for mop up duty
  21. O Line absolutely needs a share of the blame too
  22. I’d be curious to see a ranking of all 17 coaches on campus tho
  23. If it’s a historical ranking then yes Elliott clears Sark by a mile. If it’s where would you rank them right now then I would take Sark ever so slightly over Elliott, but wouldn’t push back too hard on anyone that disagrees.
  24. Dylan Sikorski genuinely the only acceptable guy we’ve ever had in the interior OL under flood ever lmao
  25. I agree @Marcus Myers but the issue I see is sark didn’t hire an offensive analyst like he did last year with Neal Brown who you could hand the play sheet to. Idk if Flood or Milwee has called plays outside spring games. Also the opening script has worked do we still go with the opening script then let someone go in game?
