Bye Week To Do List: * Work on solving the issue we have with the "A" gaps. We have to win that battle. UTSA and Tennessee figured it out and the rest of our opponents will as well. * Tell Arch to tuck and run when he can and stop crossing the LOS then throwing the ball. Once is forgivable, but this has happened 3 times this year. I don't recall it happening in the past * Get healthy. We will need all hands-on deck...lock and load. * Start research on players who are possible contributors for the portal. Needs: LBer, OL (Particularly Center / Guard) maybe a RB and DL * Eliminate stupid celebrations that draw attention. Like we used to tell our players "Act like you have been there" * Fix special teams issues. We have won games in the past due to exceptional special teams play. Sark called TO as he should to check alignment. During the time out he questioned the refs about the legality of the play. Get the facts.

I really hope sark uses this bye week to show advantage to figure out a offensive identity because at some point our defense is NOT going to be able to bail us out and we will need to score 20-30 points

It’s interesting to see so much being made about Colin’s mistake. People forget that he’s still a young guy. Not a reflection on him as a person, though I’ve seen people try to take that stance. Additionally, I would much rather my star player make such a recoverable, correctable mistake than what S. Sounds like a blast. I won't be there but I will be taking a drive to an HEB a town over because they carry OU Suks beer. Always a tradition to drink those and watch Texas smash OU. Hopefully can make it up to the Cotton Bowl in 2027!

PK rarely if ever played man press. Agreed that Muschamp does not always do it, but he does in spots that gives Texas an advantage. PK defenses were littered with some pretty darn good players. Guys like Simmons and Hill were constantly being dropped into coverage. Blitz rate PK was below 40% every year except 2025 where he was at exactly 40. Muschamp over 40% every game with the exception of Tennessee where a manufacted blitz was not needed. Average plays per game PK just shy of 70 Muschamp 64. That means your offense is getting the ball quicker and defense is not getting burnt up. Havoc rate has increased 3 and outs have increased. Early in the season but the stats dont lie.
