  1. Past hour
  2. Should be very solid, but Georgia NC winners good. Doesn’t have that level of a D-line, and this schedule of offensive players is too good
  3. Other side of it: you’ve bled burntorange for years, since you were in high school, and all of a sudden 2 guys that chose to start out elsewhere take your job because there is a coaching change. The new coach you feel doesn’t know what you can do, and didn’t recruit you. He also wasn’t around when promises were made in recruiting and last year. Ty Anthony ended the season with 9 tackles (8 solo), 1 tackle for loss, 2 interceptions, and 1 quarterback hit in the Michigan game (college football experience). Behind him we have unproven freshman . He might deserve to be lifted up like Jelani McDonald and Kade Philips. He sure as hell can help this team. And maybe just treating him delicately while still coaching him up could help. Coaches have egos too. And while players are getting paid and need to adjust, so does the coaching . It has to be smarter, these kids can go where they want and make more . All of this might be just speculation, just going by the thread here. We have few holes on this team, without his experience we get a big one in my opinion .
  4. One of a kind. Still can’t believe he’s back on the 40.
  5. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DcE3eARg1d7/?igsh=NmtnanVsdmxtdGdw here’s a cool video posted by Jordan Shipley. Arch, Colin Simmons, and Cam Coleman stayed on the field after the scrimmage to toss the ball around with Jordan and Jaxon Shipleys sons. Awesome video here.

  6. You gotta be a grown man to play for muschamp
  7. Arch only threw two interceptions in limited time.
  8. Let’s all take a step back. We don’t know what happened, and speculating doesn’t really help anything. Some of you are gonna handle the season real well! lol.
  9. Game should be available on the ESPN app if you have an ESPN + sub or Disney plus if you have the bundle.
  10. My biggest thing is it’s so different now with these “kids” getting paid 500k+. You’re getting paid an insane amount of money to play football. Get over your feels and show up whether you lost a starting job or not. All it takes is one injury and your back in, instead of looking like a quitter and putting yourself over the team.
  11. Glad football season is here and we can get back to watching threads devolve
  12. Maybe it’s just a matter of perspective because I’m not all that much older than Smith.
  13. If the secondary play from today carries over to the actual season, then yes. Need that against the QBs on this schedule.
  14. Love it. This is the rare occurrence where the Tom Herman strategy of ignoring counterparts is ok lol
  15. Will Texas defense be the Legion of BOOM this season?
  16. Id be uch a better worker lol. No coffee needed
  17. I wasn’t planning on digging further. I’ll leave it to the kid and his coaches.
  18. A lot more to the narrative than that. I wouldn’t dig any further unless you want to read through arguments but it’s been ruled out that that was the cause of absence.
  19. True, all i am saying let's dont jump to conclusions. Allow it to play out.
  20. On another thread it says Smith missed the scrimmage due to the flu. So maybe he isn’t so weak after all.
  21. Sometimes we, as he older generation deem these generation weak. So, we all jump to conclusions, if he finds it hard here at Texas at the next level or at a private job, he will find difficult. I think a lot of people jump to conclusions, especially now with money. Things happen we move on, i dont these kids so I will not judge. Allow this to play out, he doesnt want to be here that's his decision. At the same time you have to cut away bad things to prosper.
  22. I’m simply willing to give a college kid the benefit of the doubt at this stage.
