  1. Past hour
  2. I have all 1 seeds except for Arkansas on the men's side and LSU on the women's side.
  3. I'm in! I'm Howe South can you Vogel? on the men's side and CJ Mateer's Wedding Gift on the women's side
  4. Well, that's one way to get him to stop playing baseball, hopefully for good... Hope he makes a full recovery by summer ahead of the football season.
  5. Today
  6. “Avoiding losing Vasek to the portal shows his value”?? Was any team seriously coming after him to transfer? I love the talent, but what value does he have if he can’t stay on the field?
  7. That was not a comfortable game to sit through. Besides being fairly cool/cold and breezy in the stands, hitting was terrible and pitching was not too far behind. One hit in the first (HR by Tinney) and then one in the ninth. Pitiful. The team was not swinging the bat well and had way too many strikeouts. Pitching was mediocre. I was excited to see Kade Bing come in but he was yanked without getting anyone out. Hudson Hamilton was ok some of the time and the best overall was probably Max. There was a very good Tuesday night crowd that was supportive, but wound up being disappointed. Tarleton was ecstatic because UT is the highest rank team they have ever played and they won to boot. They did not look too bad but we should have handled them easily. We had better shape up and get some life in Auburn.
  8. Neither brain nor maturity is fully formed regardless of what they’re paid. They need good people in their lives to advise them on these matters as parents should to raising good humans. It’s nice in their to just say let them choose what they want. Very few athletes have been truly successful with it. Bo was probably the greatest natural athlete of all time and his body couldn’t handle it. Talk about armor. That dude was 1 of 1 and his body broken down. I know a lot of people don’t like 21 but I do and he was another unworldly athlete that did solidly in baseball but wear and tear started showing up for him as well. It’s biology and physiology not heart and desire. In high school, elite athletes can wake up and dominate on natural gifts. In college and pros, specific muscle training for a given sport is often in conflict with another not to include that their bodies never rest or fully heal which is critical to like term health. Maybe basketball and one of the others could work since weight training seems to be less critical and maybe not in conflict but it tears up the knees and joints so it’ll still shorten their career. Also it’s super sad to see these elite bodies kinda broken down later so I could enjoy a sport. IMHO, choose one once in college. When pro, if that elite, maybe split the career. Football first and then baseball since it has a longer shelf life but not concurrent. Now, the real question is if he can play left guard immediately?!! 🤘🏽@Joe Zura
  9. Surely there’s a good chance he never steps foot on campus right?
  10. I get the frustration but let's be honest, if they were elite guys that only played basketball they probably would be going to Florida & UConn respectively, that is if Duke didn't want them. Texas Football & Baseball have a pull that basketball doesn't have quite yet.
  11. I once met Terrell Owens at the San Jose airport. That's how big he is just like Coleman. Barring injury, he's tearing it up this year.
  12. We need a banger like him on the basketball team. He can do both. 😁
  13. That would be frightening to face him. Remember Randy Johnson. So intimidating.
  14. It came down to us and USC. Dammit, I wanted her here!
  15. Dailyn Swain's third straight double-figure scoring game in the NCAA Tournament ... Swain missed 2-3 shots in the win over N.C. State he's made the vast majority of the season, but still finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. The game was Swain's third career NCAA Tournament game. In those three games he's averaging 17.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
  16. Cool Swain started the season as a fringe/late second round guy. He's elevated himself to being a fringe first round guy, and still ascending in scouts minds at end of SEC regular season. This 2026 draft is extremely deep. To even be in that first round talk from 23-30 says a lot about a player. Of course Swain's perimeter game is still building. That's not what he was coming out of HS. He's gone from a guy Miller wouldn't let shoot the three, to now around 35% from three for the season (and ascending from early in the season), including making contested NBA three's against SEC length defenders. Swain shot 38.2% from three in SEC play, as well. And including tonight is 37.9% from three the last 20 games of the season. Finished product? Hell no. But he's put it on the board in the SEC in a big way over the course of a season with more on his plate than any other player, along with freak Acuff. He'll play in the NBA a long time, health permitting. The only question is which year will be his last in college.
  17. Did you watch the entire season? And you do know the NBA drafts on potential right? The kid has just developed more and more each year. Does he have some weaknesses? Yeah, if he didn’t he wouldn’t be at Texas. He would have gone straight to the draft last year and been a lottery pick. Nobody said he’s a lottery pick. He is in the bottom half of the first round.
  18. Yeah. He's a 2nd rounder at best, & his perimeter shot is still suspect. He'll go to the G league if he gets drafted & I doubt he makes the big leagues. Tons of dudes out there with his skill set. I didn't even mention his defense...great defenders don't have games like he did tonight. I just call it like I see it. We'll see over time what happens.
  19. She will get the belt when/if we play them. You can’t doubt coach vic and what’s he’s built here.
  20. Great kid. I couldn't understand what food he said he liked in Austin. Anyone catch it?
  21. Scouts are not going to overreact like you based off of ONE bad game. I don’t think he’s a first round talent, But this game doesn’t just erase what he’s done ALL season.
