I’m almost positive Zya Vann is committing to Texas soon. She started following lots of Texas assistant coaches and players following a visit. Zya probably would have had more points at Oklahoma if Chavez passed the ball more.

Jerzy will play some defense and she's got an alpha type personality that makes her feel like she doesn't need to take a backseat to anyone. 1 of those 3 is coming off the bench and I guess we'll see how that person responds to it.

Her transfer is the one I can't figure out. She always spoke highly of Coach and being at Texas. She started, had the green light, Coach praised her every game, even when she was off. Going to SC is a huge mistake. She will ride the pine. Tessa Johnson has her spot. She will get backup minutes. She's not a point guard. She will look back on this move and regret it. The other two I can reconcile.

The weird part is also the fit for her at SG considering that's where Tessa Johnson plays as well as 5-star recruit Jerzy Robinson. None of them have a PG skillset so one of them that expected to start and play heavy minutes will be coming off the bench.

Maybe. I think he rushed the passer on a higher percentage of pass plays in 2025 than 2024. He missed two games in 2025. It would require a deeper look, but the offense wasn’t as good in 2025 and likely our opponents offense in 2025 were better than 2024. We had more injuries in 2025 too. Again, it would require some drilling down but on a per game basis it could be his havoc rate was down in the run game, which could be that Collins/Broughton/Lole/Norton made that easier.

Funny I have just been reading about people who have taken in young rejected or abandoned donkeys. They seem to adapt surprisingly well to human home life. There are a couple of donkey sanctuaries in West Texas and New Mexico. They are intelligent, socual and loyal animals.
