A show that nobody asked for
Dawson Yarbrough replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Giving them even more attention they are so starved for. I don’t like it. I’m hoping it shows how they fought so hard for Sorsby because they cared about his mental health. Then when he couldn’t help them, they ditched him as fast as they could. -

I will say that i am now of the opinion that college softball is more exciting that college baseball. The smaller field means more HRs and the potential for infield (slap) hits. The dominance of previous pitchers used to make the games pretty boring because nobody was getting on base. Also, the shorter games make each inning and at bat more important and there's less breaks for pitching changes to specialists (someone coming for one lefty batter or the set up man and closer). I also like how there are some transfers but a lot of 4-year players (reese atwood, stewie, kavan, vicky martinez, goode, etc). You really get invested in the team. Baseball still has a bit of the mercenary feel with players coming in for one year and then leaving for the draft (although that could change i guess with recent proposals from MLB). Softball has evolved so there is more hitting and offense now as well. There is also a premium on good defense as we saw in the CWS where errors and mental lapses can cost you. Finally, the potential of a run rule is also fun to watch--i wish we could have run-ruled Tech in Game 3 last year! But happy that we won two years in a row now! Hook 'em. -

Please let it happen …right Gerry? Bye tech

he took the signing bonus from cody c. now stuck to tech unless LSU or Florida buys him out. Crazy that college football has come to this--like corporate head hunters. -
i hope our track program can turn it around.

Mayo brothers!

If gerry is your daddy does that make Muschamp your uncle?

Awful stuff, what an incredible talent and prayers to him and his family. ALS is such a horrible debilitating disease.

My youngest brother got Parkinson when he was 43 it was so sad watching him wasted away. He passed OU week 2023

I like them. Something to look forward to.

Sad to hear, praying for him

Don’t think it has.

Good hire for Texas A$M.

You are exactly right. Gerry gets information because he doesn’t say anything misleading. It also means that people trust him to not leak things. He says someone silently committed, then it doesn’t take away from the players moment. Also, if the kid does not commit then he did not mislead the readers. Look at DK Moore, silently committed and was a hi, then didn’t work out. Gerry should not take shade for that. We are also in the world of the NIL changing the calculus last minute. Why get the fans hope up and then be wrong because you said a certain person was committing and then they didn’t?!

HI >>> Fongbomb or any other prediction. Plus they also post prediction percentages for recruits. What more could we ask for lol
-
For all those hating on Gerry’s HIs, would you rather him say nothing? It is the best situation. Sometimes the kids change their minds.

Brewster has already signed an extensive Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement with Texas Tech's collective includes the purchase of real estate property in Lubbock. LSU in discussions about buyout and a massive NIL structure to offset his existing contractual obligations with Texas Tech. https://brobible.com/sports/article/jalen-brewster-lsu-flip-texas-tech-nil-deal-buyout-property-lubbock-update/ -

Interesting thing about the new 5 for 5 rule is that some colleges are pulling offers from current commits. Word is that Memphis and Texas Tech has done that already so they can keep their transfers that they paid a ton for. Don’t think Texas has since their recruits are elite tier. - Today
