I don’t have any signed jerseys or cards, but I finally found a 1963 National Championship booklet that I got signed by Coach Royal and Duke Carlisle. This was from the 1964 Athens, Texas football banquet where they honored Duke and Coach Royal was the guest speaker. Most of my stuff from the 60’s and 70’s burned in my parents house in the late 70’s, but somehow this survived. The Longhorn’s 1st National Championship and I also attended the Cotton Bowl.

I'm sure his injury last season did not help. Hill's instincts are underrated. Despite the combine, I pinged him as the #2 LB behind Reese and essentially tied with Styles.
