In a game like this you kick it. It was close but let’s not forget our defense answered the bell and got us the ball back and Spetic just barely missed that.

Kids sports Saturday morning and my dad isn't making the drive. That ok?

We have a coach that just said 3 weeks ago he was brought here to win, and even Saturday said he was hired because he was a good offensive play caller. He is being paid over $11 million dollars this year and was given an offensive roster that he hand picked that is worth probably around 10-15 million dollars...Then in a rivalry game, on 4th and 2 in the 4th quarter, he thinks it's acceptable to say we didn't have a play that he was more confident would be successful than a 52 yard field goal attempt. I don't think anyone thought the kicker was gonna make that kick, I sure didn't. To go to the press and say you don't have an answer to get 2 yards just shows how he has no feel for the game during the game. You have a top 5 offensive roster in the entire country, you are supposed to be a top 5 OC, you have had a bottom tier offense for 3 straight years, to say that you are good at calling plays still is just ignorant. Something has to change or 2023 is the ceiling.

That didn't take long.

Our tight ends aren't a + for this team compared to the advantages that 10 personnel brings. Open it up, create space for these high dollar athletes. -

I see the sky is falling. The road to a consistent productive offense is clearly in front of this team. The offense will click, Arch just needs a slump buster. My concern is special teams, they are special all right, special olympics level special. I have no idea how that gets fixed because it is something different every week. -

7 points: Take 2 bad sacks, special teams blunder, punt block touchdown 3 points: Oklahoma puts out a garbage punt package to confuse/make Texas call a timeout. Coach calls a timeout because he doesn't think the special teams coach has the special teams prepared. Oklahoma now kicks a field goal. Poorly prepared unit (again) gives them a chance and they take it. 7 points: Their only real drive, force a turnover, bad penalty on Biles (yes, you choose how to land and you thought you'd get away with it), get a stop again, bad pass interference call because of getting our trail hand too high on the receiver. Touchdown from the 2 yard line. 7 points: Pick 6 on a terrible decision that was only surpassed by an ever more terrible pass. 3 points: Offense has the ball and we make another terrible decision and throw an interception when they only need 25-30 yards to hit a walk off, they do. Every single point they had was because of the offense/special teams and 2 bad penalties by the defense....No more excuses for the "Hustle penalties"..... Any penalty is a bad penalty, period.

Product of leadership. And it's nauseating

Logic and reasoning, you do not use.

Discipline is never going to improve under Sark. After the Tennessee mess, he still gave the players cigars to smoke in the locker room despite that not being our tradition. Even at Alabama, where it is their tradition to smoke a Tennessee pack after a win, they would not have allowed a celebration like that after making such bad mistakes that almost cost them that game. We have a middle aged linebacker coach that got a DUI on a WEDNESDAY, IN SEASON, who had no real consequences for his actions. There is no accountability in this program from the head coach. At least we don't have to hear about their record anymore and ignore what we see...Process over results

I cannot argue with running more 10 personnel, with the caution that our QB must be willing to settle for the quick dump pass when the other teams rush is going to get to him. He has a propensity for holding the ball too long which creates problems (like the pick 6). -

LMAO. Not a moron, just a bitterly disappointed fan. How many of us have changed jobs in anger thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the septic tank? It's human nature. I myself, being older than the Rockies, have figured out that flush and repeat does not equate to a finished product. Allow coaches to coach, players to learn, and hope for the best.🤣🤘 -

AusMOJO replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Watching the all 22 (only Arch's plays) it seems the issue is with the route choices. A lot of it is going way down field or sitting on the side line. Nothing is really open and there doesn't seem to be someone to check down to on most plays. The OL actually held up fairly well in pass protection and gave Arch time to throw. But what you notice is not many people open or they still have their backs to him as the plays are breaking down. Even on the ones where he's under duress most of the time the guys all have their backs turned and there's no where to go with it. Hence him hesitating a lot. Doesn't excuse his poor awareness at times or sailing passes but I think Sark needs to look at that and reevaluate. -

mic drop. Firing the coach is the easy open for most of us mentally.
