  1. Past hour
  2. @Gerry Hamilton, I know we are full swing football and baseball. Is there any new information about the basketball team the new players or coaches and whatnot?
  3. He had a collarbone injury from his senior season of football which is why his baseball debut was delayed. He should be at 100% with that by now, however.
  4. Thank you CJ. I thought he had been dealing with issues around his shoulder.
  5. Nice analysis. I would’ve labeled LaVell Edwards offensive.
  6. Nice job and good read Hashtag. Yes, you have to have both. I look at Tom Landry as an example who I watched in his career. He was a strong defensive coach but also was very innovative (shotgun, motions offense and situational strategies) and was tremendously successful. Hiring the right coordinators is key.
  7. Schloss said postgame Jonah was dealing with cramps on Saturday. Explaining why he was pulled after his go-ahead 3RBI 2B.
  8. Hamstrings linger, it's what they do.
  9. How much concern should there be with Jonah and his lingering injury? Primarily when Jonah gets on the gridiron and starts taking hits...
  10. Offense is a "between the ears" issue. Just need to see some success and get the confidence rolling again. Max coming back may be just what the doctor ordered.
  11. Today
  12. Correct. Riley is recruited solely at the nickel spot. Matthews is an outside corner.
  13. I’m pretty sure we are He’s one of our nickel prospects different position from Matthews
  14. Is Texas still pursuing him? Haven’t heard much.
  15. Is he the corner that de-committed from Houston that Texas was recruiting?
  16. Texas makes the final four for 2026 Hough (N.C.) CB Samari Matthews. Joining the Longhorns is Clemson, South Carolina and Florida State. Matthews had a great 4-day visit with his parents in April where he was able to take in a Saturday scrimmage and a Monday practice. Longhorns are trending here.
  17. Last 10 National Champions(HC Specialty(OFEI/DFEI Ranking): Notes Ohio St - Offense(1/2): Offense ranked higher with offensive coach Michigan - Offense(5/1): Defense ranked higher with offensive coach Georgia - Defense(1/1): Tie Georgia - Defense (3/1): Defense ranked higher with defensive coach Alabama - Defense(1/17): Offense ranked higher with defense coach LSU - Defense(1/11): Offense ranked higher with defensive coach Clemson - Offense(5/1): Defense ranked higher with offensive coach Alabama - Defense(7/2): Defense ranked higher with defensive coach Clemson - Offense(2/9): Offense ranked higher with offensive coach Alabama - Defense(17/1): Defense ranked higher with defensive coach The way it looks you basically want a defensive coach or a top defense to win a national title with a HC. The caveat of that being you have historic type offense such as 2019 LSU and 2020 Bama. The other caveat being you're just like, 2018 Clemson, 2021/2022 Georgia, and 2024 Ohio St and just an all around great team offensively and defensively
  18. 2024 CFP Teams(Team - HC Specialty(OFEI Ranking/DFEI Ranking): Notes Oregon - Defense(2/15) - Offense was better with defensive HC Georgia - Defense(13/12) - Relatively even Boise St - Defense(12/32) - Offense was better with defensive HC Arizona St - Offense(7/31) - Offense was better with offensive HC Texas - Offense(18/3) - Defense was better with offensive HC Penn St - Offense(5/4) - Relatively even Notre Dame - Defense(9/1) - Defense was better with defensive coach Ohio St - Offense(1/2) - Relatively even(easy to see why they came out as national champs) Tennessee - Offense(34/11) - Defense was better with offensive coach Indiana - Offense(4/20) - Offense was better with offensive coach SMU - Offense(41/14) - Defense was better with offensive coach Clemson - Offense(15/27) - Offense was better with offensive coach
  19. Add in Gbenda, Holmes, Norton, Bolden and Majors that have signed UDFA contracts that's just an amazing influx of horns into the league. I would have to think that if the legal case ends in his favor, Bond would be added to the UDFA list to make 18 total.
  20. Of course the question will be at what point in the draft is a yearly contract lower than a player’s NIL potential as a 4th or 5th year in college.
