"I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all the coaches and programs who have invited me to take an Official Visit this summer, as well as the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to make these visits so special for players and their families. That being said, I have decided not to take any Official Visits this summer. The personal challenge I set for myself two years ago (when I got here) completing high school in just 2.5 years to early enroll in 2027 demands my full commitment. I’m incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made in these two years. As a team captain, i got to be here for my teammates during summer workouts. This is my final season last year was my first on varsity, and we fell short. This year, we’re determined not to let that happen. That’s another reason why I need to stay focused and put everything I have into this sh*t. #ArmyofBuckeyes"

Ha! Actually worked out well. Was able to follow all the legislation updates to pass the time!

Not a huge card by any stretch, but I snagged this one from one of the value boxes at the grand opening of Tom Brady’s Austin store today:

Also, let the record show that @Hank South is a stand-up guy. I offered him a place in line next to me to get into the store, but he walked to the back of the line.

Where should Sark rank among FBS head coaches?
Joe Zura replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum

Where should Sark rank among FBS head coaches?
Bunk Moreland replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Actually I don’t think it’s that simple. Sark has won a conference championship and been to another, and been to two CFP semifinals at Texas. Cristobal won two conference titles at Oregon and zero at Miami, and has been to the playoffs once (title game). Freeman has won zero conference titles (obviously) and has been to the playoffs once (title game). Why is it so obvious that those coaches belong above Sark? You’re saying that getting to the title game should trump all other accomplishments—so, again, these coaches should be on the same level as Sonny Dykes. Otherwise you’re just quantifying it according to the eye test. -
Tom Brady wasn't there today (their Friends & Family event was yesterday). Still, I left pleasantly surprised with the store. Bought a few cards from the value boxes and a Topps Chrome football hanger box.

Gutierrez was good against ASU for multiple innings. They definitely need a Mac Morgan to step up for sure.

I also am not fully bought on Cignetti either... I'd have Kirby and probably Day over Cignetti personally. I think that's recency bias and flavor of the month at work... Not saying he isn't good, but Let him do it again then we can talk... wouldn't really want him at Texas either, but that's just me. #teamSark 🤘 -

Fundamentally we weren't rewarded for playing those games. Texas was rewarded for not losing them. -
McMurphy: SEC coaches were ‘misled’ about going to nine games
Rocky P replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
There is so much confusion in CFB that it's almost impossible to have a unified front when nobody knows what to be unified about. Feels like they are all unified that there needs to be rules and regulations that can actually be enforced. -

I have no problem with the list or any of the tweaks above, but I also wouldn't trade Sark for anyone on the list. Fit and temperament and style, time and place. A NC or two and he'll quickly ascend that list as well. 🤘
