I think even the plays Sark calls and him calling plays are fine. I think the biggest issue is this team isn’t A) Physical enough, B) Mean enough, C) Fast enough If the OL was pushing people around, we had an horse and RB, and the WR had the same speed we’ve had recently, Texas would be fine (and probably 9-1).

It's pretty remarkable that it's even a question, but I am all for it! I bet she gets one at least... then imagine the highlight reels that will come as a result. Good pub for Texas if so! -
Honestly if you would have me last year it would be easy but after this year who knows. If Sark is truly committed and all the distractions that led us here are gone or at least minimized I think we will be fine and in the hunt to win it all next year. If not... We might headed for a coaching search in two years or less.

I'm not saying shift expectations, but once they aren't met for the first time in three years does that mean burn it all down and start over in your opinion? I would say no, but I'd also agree with you that we've underachieved. It's okay to say it. Your rhetoric isn't really pointing towards any solutions besides firing a staff, and even if that transpires what would you want to happen? The standard is the standard but it's not happening this year.

That's where my money's going too. I don't think that it will take that long after she starts playing regularly. -

How is it the fan base fault that the admin, AD’s, and even donors have made bad hires for decades now? Once the fan base goes from expecting titles and winning to whatever else, we have failed as a football program. Especially now that fans and alumni who create the revenue to be used to pay players through revenue share and NIL exist. Pressure to perform and pressure to win should be higher than ever, ESPECIALLY given our resources with this. I said in another thread the bare minimum we SHOULD expect every season in a 12-16 team playoff is making the damn playoff, every year! With the transfer portal there is no reason not to. National championships should always be the goal. Without the bare minimum I stated you have no shot at a national title.

Keep stacking the talent, Vic. May it translate to championships! -
What an incredible addition to our program. This class is really good. Add Crump, and out three sophomores, and our future is very bright. Happy for Coach Vic and Co.

Crittendon is basically Aaliyah Crump (super skilled offensively and physically strong) but 2 inches taller. Bjorn looks like a good outside shooter but it'll be good to see if she can translate physically to the P4 college game. This class is looking solid for Vic. The future is bright. -
I'm assuming that his decision to leave the team and redshirt was based on advice from his representation regarding his NFL future. Preserving his last season of eligibility to transfer to a Power Four school is less about an NIL check and more about maximizing his draft stock.

Coach Vic’s post game presser with Book and Harmon… He talks about Crittendon (around the 9 min mark) and how much the players help with recruiting. https://watch.longhornnetwork.com/video/886023
