Mike Elko vs TexAgs/fan base … is wild

😂 it’s not OTFs fault that sark and co suck -
Never thought we were #1 and I'm not sure at this point we are even Top Ten because of all the mental mistakes I'm seeing. Special teams needs to be totally revamped. If Sark isn't going to give up play calling he needs someone with better insight in his ear. Someone needs to explain to me how Arch's technique breaks down and he makes the kind of mistake he made at the end of the game today. Great teams know how to gut a team at the end of the game to win and we are not anywhere close to that mentally.

Short of having someone who can create with nothing rolling around the pocket what do you want him to do? Week after week I see other teams have a real quick game. Have plenty of plays that make defense pay for sending too many people down hill. Teams have learned that we see pressure and want to hit a bomb. Not take a slant or anything quick. He made dumb plays but also got play calls that are impossible to do anything with when the defense has time for their blitz to get home.

Well so what Aggs suck . Horns are mid because of a QB and Banks…. Anything else? Cause Texas ain’t winning shat till Arch goes .. -
Jeff Banks needs to go and Sark needs to run the ball. He ruined the drive at the end of the first half and we gave away moment running the ball on our final possession and then threw a pick. We were snapping the ball with 23 seconds left on the play clock on a running clock with a minute to go. What are you doing

Thank you for your response. Cam Coleman had a good game. Our two offensive freshman had some big moments today. The team needed this loss, and Arch needed this loss. All will be well. It just sucks losing, and to me as a fan I hate losing to OU more than anybody. Now being #1 is off our back. All 3 units had a role in the loss. Now we can turn it loose.

Spin what u want. Different QB..Different result. Period. Stop blaming Sark for getting UT out of laughing stock 10+ yrs of misery… then blaming him for play calling. Guys are open. Period. He can’t throw it. There are sevaeral QBs that elevate when the game begins. Arch panics every other series. Time to accept a waste of 40 mill roster cause your QB is mid….. hope he goes pro for UTs sake

Nothing will change until everything about this program does. Texas is in a position to compete for a national championship every season but ultimately just doesn’t get the job done. I’m not saying this season is done, but if changes aren’t made immediately it's just about done. Anyway, It's not a lack of talent, or athletes, or the ability to have good coaching. It’s lack of competence. Complacency brings sloppiness, mediocrity, and satisfaction. I’m not trying to take away the success Texas has had in the past couple of seasons because it’s been nothing short of impressive for how bad Texas was in the 2010’s. But allowing for your team to lose games the same way year after year and be okay with it because you make the playoffs, or win ten games in one season is just unacceptable and plainly insane. I’m not asking for perfection because that’s just almost impossible to do now in this state of college football, shoutout IU. Indiana is the perfect example of how a program needs to be run. You don’t need a 50 million dollar roster to compete. You need discipline and consistency, and it all starts with the coaching. How are you going to challenge your players to not do the things they want to do but instead what they need to? How can you coach your players to keep your emotions in check? The answer is discipline. Discipline is the answer to success. If coach sark had discipline he would understand that the way he’s running things isn’t working and would take accountability. He has to have accountability to see that sometimes you can’t have it the way you want it. It's time to give over offensive play calling duties to someone else. If he’s unwilling to do so it exudes to his players that accountability is held to everyone except himself. That is a recipe for disaster. It doesn’t need to be a rework of what Sark wants offensively, but he needs to be the HEAD COACH and no more. At some point as a fan it feels selfish to see him answer questions regarding the problems his team has and simply ignores issues the reporters ask him. At some point, we have to stop looking at every loss as an isolated incident and start asking ourselves why the same problems continue to show up. A penalty here, a questionable decision there, a lack of execution when the game is on the line. Any team can have a bad game. But when the same issues keep appearing, eventually you have to look beyond the players on the field and examine the culture that is being established behind them. An elite program doesn’t just recruit elite talent. It demands elite standards. It demands accountability from the players, the assistant coaches, and especially the head coach. Nobody should be above criticism, and nobody should be satisfied simply because the program has made progress. Sorry for the rant, I’m just a frustrated fan.
