  1. Past hour
  2. Keilan Robinson was also drafted too
  3. I don’t want to play either. Nothing to gain
  4. I would not underestimate Vandy in the true NIL marketplace. Nashville is a city with opportunities for media and corporate publicity and appearances, and the school has very wealthy alumni. Down the road: when collective bargaining comes, if state employees are prohibited, then Vandy and Stanford and Northwestern and Notre Dame and USC and SMU and even Rice will actually have an advantage. That is the kind of political mess that could lead to permitting state employees to collectively bargain across the board!
  5. Nor should he, how great the glory before the fall?!?! Remember when he was the hottest coach in America? 3 seasons later, bye ✌️
  6. Regardless of all that it is a batshit crazy statement to say that you're being persecuted because your university isn't making the playoffs lmao
  7. I was mainly focused on them using this as any type of persecution of Christians no matter what denomination. It is an insult to any faith that is actually experiencing persecution in the world. It’s especially rich coming from a Mormon school. Which as you have correctly pointed out is not routinely recognized as a part of Christianity.
  8. Today
  9. Nobody wants that PSU job. I'm sure they're regretting the Franklin firing right about now.
  10. I doubt he's ever going to land a big time job again, he can't even land a job right now lol. No one even trying to hire him as their OC.
  11. ND thinks way too highly of themselves. If the P4 conferences had any balls they completely block them out with scheduling until they joined a conference. If ND was in a conference they know they’d immediately become irrelevant
  12. ND considers themselves Christians. That statement wasn’t for football reasons. Mormons crave to be considered Christan in its truest form. They know the church won’t accept them so they want society to do it for them.
  13. This is “persecuting Christians”? Come on man!! They just lost all credibility and are now out of contention for that statement.
  14. PSU loves hydration charts and arrogant d-bags that shame their players. It’s a perfect fit!!
  15. Any indications on Derrick Williams and his future here? Is he a candidate to run back home and go to LSU??
  16. Man. Was hoping for this guy, but glad he didn't choose Tech.
  17. Not sure they're going after T's, but I do agree would like to see them have a look at the G from Texas State. We'll see who else jumps in but I'm sure they've already been assessing this stuff a lot longer than most of us have or at least a fella can hope lol. Bartrum would be nice, but I think he's too similar to guys we have already in McDonald and Williams, imo.
  18. 👀 I would like to see Texas look at Tellek Lockette, the guard from Texas State. Upper classmen linemen for a year would be helpful. Could this be a Taaffe replacement? Makes solid tackles and runs the safety blitz as deceptive as Taaffe. Shame the fan base can't help suggest portal players to the staff 😂
  19. Last line is WILD 😂, although I agree that BYU should be in the spot that Notre Dame is, even if the B12 is absolute doo doo. Funny how "Wins and losses matter" and "Who you beat matters" apparentely applies to anyone but Texas. If OSU and UGA win their conference championship game we'll have played both the winner of the SEC and B10, who are by far the best conferences in CFB. I think that should mean something. Still think we have a very slim chance but I don't think we have 0 chances of getting in. If the committee doesn't push Bama out in a situation where they get handled by UGA then why do we even play these conference championship games? Are they gonna become just exhibition games?
  20. Teams ranked 1-2, in order: Ohio State, 12 - 0 Indiana, 12 - 0 Teams ranked 3-7, in order: Georgia, 11 - 1 Texas Tech, 11 - 1 Oregon, 11 - 1 Ole Miss, 11 - 1 Texas A&M, 11 - 1 Teams ranked 8-10, in order: Oklahoma, 10 - 2 Alabama, 10 - 2 Notre Dame, 10 - 2 Fringe Playoff Teams, in order: BYU, 11 - 1 Miami, 10 - 2 Texas, 9 - 3 Why do we even need a committee? What are they useful for? The clearly don't have a better understanding of college football than the average viewer. It doesn't matter who you beat, it matters what your record says and apparently how you look in the eyes of the committee, cause there is no argument for Notre Dame above Miami other than "eye test". As for an outside shot at Texas making it in the playoffs: - UGA wins soundly against Bama, props up our SOS. - OSU wins soundly against Indiana, props up our SOS. - Tech wins against BYU, that would put us above BYU I think. - Duke wins the acc at 8-5 and shows that the ACC is a joke of a conference. Don't think we're getting in but these are the scenarios to even have a small chance at getting selected. Cancel all future blue blood OOC games, they only hinder your chances at getting a 10-2 or better record.
  21. Depends on 40 time but I'd advise him to stay in school 100%. He can get paid well in college, hopefully he stays at Texas. I think he's an incredibly talented kid, fast as hell and proved to be one of Texas most valuable players this season.
  22. Pretty sure we will play Michigan in Citrus, although USC might be a more challenging opponent
  23. Dont think Texas can bank on him ever being back to 100%. They did that this year for other players and it did not work out well.
  24. I'd love to keep Vasek and see what he can do when healthy.
  25. I think we would play USC not michigan if everything stayed the same as today.
  26. Petty and particular. Love it!
  27. After seeing Jaydon Blue get drafted in the 5th round, I don’t think anything would shock me anymore
