  1. Past hour
  2. in the portal you're always in a bidding war
  3. No. Players aren’t on campus except for those still meeting with the staff which is only a few
  4. All four teams are in a bidding war for Cam.
  5. Is there any truth to Ketchum’s tweet saying we are in a bidding war with Bama right now for Cam?
  6. I haven’t seen anything to support this. Not saying you’re wrong—he very well might not come to Texas. But the reporting has been pretty quiet on him.
  7. Has our roster players arrived back on campus yet? Need them there I think . To help with recruiting and holding on to what we have.
  8. Correct, but the difference is that the OL wanted a reason to stay at Michigan. Uluave has no specific ties to that school. So money whipping is more likely to work with him. Not saying it will work, but gotta give him a lot to think about before choosing Michigan.
  9. Had this thought as well. Whittingham also specializes in linebacker development. Coached and played LB himself previously.
  10. Won't matter... he's not coming. Hate to say it...
  11. I just came over from IT as well. Most of you from Twitter probably recognize the handle.
  12. You are right, but even out bidding Michigan does not guarantee his signature. Look at what happened with the Michigan offensive lineman.
  13. Speaking of Arizona, is Gerry going to admit Leavitt is a bigger loser than Beck? Spent all last off season telling us what a great leader Leavitt was. Guy's a chump.
  14. If I’m Texas no way I let the Pitt linebacker leave unsigned.
  15. My one concern with Uluave is that he’s a Utah guy originally. There’s likely to be a comfort factor with Whittingham that might be tough to overcome. This is why we need to be sure we significantly outbid Michigan.
  16. Tyler Atkinson needs to see a lot of the field early in the season. My prediction he will be a Caleb Downs impact freshman.
  17. Completely agree with you. The only reason I could rationalize is if he wanted to stay closer to family. I don’t know his family situation, but maybe he has relatives who would have a hard time getting to his games. Visiting three different campuses in one week, all far from his hometown, might put things into perspective and make staying closer to home feel like the best option. Like you said, he’s going to make money anywhere. I know I might be reaching a bit, but with Alabama’s QB situation, that’s honestly the only reason I can think of for choosing Alabama. Also, it’s still Alabama—they’re going to put a good team on the field regardless of their quarterback situation.
  18. If they GOT both, they’d have one of the best duo of LB’s in the country, and I have a strong suspicion Ty’Anthony Smith is going to ball out this next year.
  19. And a Big Chief tablet. You young guys can google it 😀
  20. Justice for Dicker! (Reichard had a great year and Aubrey is awesome but gotta support our boy).
  21. I feet you cooked here and I also don’t understand why he would wanna go to another bad QB situation.
  22. I’d argue the Cal LB is more needed because he plays Mike, which they don’t even have one of on the roster currently until the Florida St. backer becomes a Longhorn. The Pitt LB is very good! I’m not saying he’s bad. I’d love to have both! But if you asked me which one I’d want Uluave. Ty’Anthony will play the Will/Dime backer in Muschamp’s scheme, but we need a starter-level Mike to play between the tackles. The Florida St backer will likely back up whoever starts at Mike, hence, why Uluave is more important in my opinion.
  23. NIL era. Everything is in #2 pencil
  24. NIL will not be a problem. Texas can afford both.
