  12. @Blake Munroe reported it late in the week, but this has been the expectation internally at Texas with Emerson. The staff knew he wasn't making it to campus, barring something completely unexpected.

  15. That'll be the second time in three years that the Rays have taken a top Texas signee in the first round of the draft. They took Theo Gillen with the 18th pick in 2024.

  17. The top 20 is made up entirely of the SEC and the Big Ten. That speaks volumes about the separation between those two conferences and everybody else.
