  2. Discipline is never going to improve under Sark. After the Tennessee mess, he still gave the players cigars to smoke in the locker room despite that not being our tradition. Even at Alabama, where it is their tradition to smoke a Tennessee pack after a win, they would not have allowed a celebration like that after making such bad mistakes that almost cost them that game. We have a middle aged linebacker coach that got a DUI on a WEDNESDAY, IN SEASON, who had no real consequences for his actions. There is no accountability in this program from the head coach. At least we don't have to hear about their record anymore and ignore what we see...Process over results

  3. Which Arch? Saturday's or the Michigan game last year?
  4. So that's what is wrong with all of us.
  5. I cannot argue with running more 10 personnel, with the caution that our QB must be willing to settle for the quick dump pass when the other teams rush is going to get to him. He has a propensity for holding the ball too long which creates problems (like the pick 6).
  6. CJ, you have committed an egregious error with this post. We do not allow sane, rational comments the Monday after losing to the land thieves. 🤣
  7. See my comment later, OH. One of the few things that are great about being ancient. Seen most all of it before. HookEm.
  8. LMAO. Not a moron, just a bitterly disappointed fan. How many of us have changed jobs in anger thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the septic tank? It's human nature. I myself, being older than the Rockies, have figured out that flush and repeat does not equate to a finished product. Allow coaches to coach, players to learn, and hope for the best.🤣🤘
  9. Watching the all 22 (only Arch's plays) it seems the issue is with the route choices. A lot of it is going way down field or sitting on the side line. Nothing is really open and there doesn't seem to be someone to check down to on most plays. The OL actually held up fairly well in pass protection and gave Arch time to throw. But what you notice is not many people open or they still have their backs to him as the plays are breaking down. Even on the ones where he's under duress most of the time the guys all have their backs turned and there's no where to go with it. Hence him hesitating a lot. Doesn't excuse his poor awareness at times or sailing passes but I think Sark needs to look at that and reevaluate.
  10. Ask Aggie if changing coaches worked out well for them.
  11. mic drop. Firing the coach is the easy open for most of us mentally.
  12. it's been said before, by yours truly. I sincerely hope that we are both way off base.
  13. I don’t think he’ll hire an OC and I think it will be his downfall
  14. I understand your frustration and respect your opinion (and your right to it) - but I believe that you and most fans are wrong. Coach didn't throw the passes, and has addressed this already THIS SEASON with Arch. Coach didn't cause the 'deer in the headlights' hesitancy that Arch had.
  15. GG, spot-on on both counts. I wish for him to finish out and find his destiny in the NFL. I believe the situation with Coach being the OC has led to him having to be overly fixated on his QB instead of being the HC. Once he's past this point in his psyche, and allows a OC to be hired that he can oversee as he wishes, he will be a wonderful coach. We all have out chinks in our armor (mine's kinda falling apart), let's hope he works his out. HookEm.
  16. Gerry, well spoken, and I am glad the elephant in the room has now been addressed and summarily led out of the room. I really don't want to read any more or rehash any more on this subject. The young man has the talent and even more is surrounded by such fantastic support personnel in Coach and his uncles that he is indeed blessed. He either gets it/does it or he doesn't.🤘 ps - I like to think that he will 'get it', and finally blossom. And coach, you need a ^%# OC. HookEM
  17. Today
  18. Moving on from Sark would put a financial strain on the athletic program. He and his staff are owed a whole lot of money. We’d be in an A&M scenario at that point. I know Texas has a lot of money, but obviously that would not be good. Best case scenario, he puts his CEO hat and hires an offensive coordinator.
  19. Sark just needs to tweak these to include hot route, slants behind the blitzing LBs, etc.
  20. Nah, we’ve lost to OU before and overcome it. 2023 comes to mind. Flush it and move on. Nothing broke, they had a tough game and missed a field goal that should’ve sealed it. What broke should be this team’s FAFO approach on offense and special teams.
  21. we are all doing alot of talking of firing banks & clearly talk ab the play calling. but what about AJ milwee & michael bimonte job status? just the way we aren’t seeing progression we should with 2 5 star “elite” QB’s
  22. You’re not wrong, @CJ Vogel and @Rod Babers get on the grassy knoll with me but there is also a Stoops in our locker room and it just so happens that we lose a game against a bad OU team the first year he’s on staff?!?!
  23. Now do Opponents national rank in scoring offense on the Texas schedule in 2026:
  24. Biggest reason for optimism: you can make life changing money betting Florida +10.5 no way this team can win by multiple scores.
