For whoever put baker at 29. If he is our 29th best player, we are in trouble on that oline. We need him to be top 20 minimim. I think he will be top 10-15 for us this year and really solidify that right side of the line.

I’m pumped for Gable fight. I think he can take UFC by storm before it’s all said and done. Guys that big should not be able to move that quickly. I’ve gone back and forth on McGregor. But man from a physical standpoint he looks phenomenal.

I like D Williams. Everyone of these guys are good and bring a skill set to The Table for Texas to be Successful. Candidly, it’s the intangibles for me that separate them. The physicality has to be there. NT=DP. Discipline, Focus, Consistency, Execution, Heart, Attitude, Mindset……Give me someone who is Poor, Smart, Hungry and has the Desire to The Best They Can Be. Performance Driven, Result Oriented! Let’s Go!!! Hook’em!!!

It’s crazy to me that Zina, Justus Terry, Brandon Baker, Cooper, Townsend are all ranked ahead of D Williams. I get that he had a down year, but remember that this is a guy Sark once projected to be a first rounder. It remains to be seen if he’ll ever return to his 2024 form. But none of those other guys have played as much or as impressively as Williams at his best. I do think all of those other players have the potential to rocket up the list, but I wouldn’t put any of them—including Baker—ahead of D Williams yet.

Yeah, they’re wrong sometimes. He also came out and spoke out against a Rivals prediction. Again, not trying to do anything except a light hearted post about a recruit I’m excited about. Ok with you?

I’d put Masunas down the list at 41 he just doesn’t move the needle for me yet…neither did Gunnar Helm before 24 either so I hope he’s 80% of that. Personal bias but I’d put d Will up higher around 27. Fun exercise for sure!!

Agree. That's why I put Baker at No. 18 on my ballot.
