I'd say its "good", not "weird." Indiana just won the Natty. Oklahoma hasn't won a natty since before we did, and has never won a CFP game.

So glad we are agreeing to jeopardize our playoff chances by voluntarily playing Ohio State after what happened last year 🙂 Our SEC schedule wasn't hard enough, I guess.

I agree. Depending on freshmen, especially in the SEC, is risky.

If Vic is about to close it up then I don’t feel nearly as good about the team as he does. I think there’s definitely work that needs to be done to get where we wanna be.

I am a huge believe in analytics when it comes to CFB rankings. SP+, F+, FEI, FPI, etc. I knew Ohio State's schedule was tough, I didn't realize how tough Texas' was. Personally, looking at Texas' schedule, I'm surprised it is rated as the hardest. There's a good chance most of those teams (Tennessee, Florida, LSU) are 7-5 teams at the end of the season, with others being below .500

Hey all, I plan on coming down to your beautiful city & campus in September for the Ohio State @ Texas monster clash. Maybe my google skills just stink, but I'm getting conflicting information. Can you please let me know which section(s) are typically the away sections?

Have any idea why ? I’ve asked this question before & received no answer. Vic seems like a great coach . But he went a little overboard on his praise for Harman in my opinion. She was great, but it is a team sport.

Close it up and not fill roster spots?!? Especially for two starters who left?!? That means there would be four empty roster spots. So Vic isn’t thinking about injuries? Texas had three this past season and has at least one every year. Vic said he was looking for a Center and shooting guard last week before they signed Vann. Excerpt from Houston Chronicle:

We still need some experience and size if we want to get back to the Final Four. This team is a level or 2 lower defensively with the loss of Rori, Lee, and Oldacre. If we do run with what we got, expect the first half of the the season to be rough if we have a similar tough schedule we had this past year. It's going to take time for the freshman and Vann to reach a Vic level of stamina and acuity on defense game to game. Hopefully by end of year, we'll be good enough to make a run for Madi's last year.

Weird that it seems like we’re competing more with Indiana in recruiting than Oklahoma.

Other than Olivya Edwards, (doubt she comes here) Coach Vic might close it up. Which means he is satisfied with Lovisa's development. At 6'6", she is going to be that two headed monster he likes. Bri Preston staying is a very good sign. We just need to see who emerges as the shooting guard and the power forward. My guess is Addison Bjorn at the 2 and Isi Itute at the 4. Amanda Holguin will sub in for Bjorn, and Crittendon subs in for Itute or Booker. Meanwhile Lizzy Spaight comes in for Preston. That is a sweet rotation.
