Who's the worst QB in this picture?
Gerry Hamilton replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Still wild that Florida had Tim Tebow and Cam Newton on the same team. And that 2007 Florida recruiting class (Cam Newton) had 10-12 NFL draft picks ... even with all the off the field issues in that class is crazy. -

More power to him, but not sure how that will translate to the NFL. I guess one could work in an NFL city and live in the country. -
I saw another article that did mention Texas on this list. It’s always tricky when politics and sports collide.

NAACP wants players to boycott Southern schools....Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georga and South Carolina. I won't get into the politics of it but I did notice that Texas wasn't mentioned. I cannot imagine a talented, young athlete giving up a chance to play in the SEC for a huge money bag because a certain organization is butt hurt over a political situation. Somehow Texas was left off the list so maybe we can benefit LOL

Who's the worst QB in this picture?

From best to worst (they're all spectacular) I have VY, Cam, Burrow, Tebow, Baker. Cam had the weakest roster out of anyone in the photo so I have him very close to VY as far as talent. -
In the pros, only Burrows and Mayfield have made it. In college, probably Vince and Cam were the best because they were great with a good cast around them, but not a spectacular cast. That LSU team was great pretty much top to bottom. That leaves Tebow as the worst overall, but I really liked him in college.

OTF Premium 2027 Gunter (TX) OL Caleb Siler Sets OV
CJ Vogel posted a topic in On Texas Football Forum
2027 OT Caleb Siler to OV June 19th *** As alluded to earlier in month of April, 2027 Gunter (TX) OL Caleb Siler will officially visit Texas on June 19th. Siler will also take visits to TCU, Arkansas, South Carolina and Texas Tech ahead of his trip to Austin. Texas will be competing against some larger NIL offers in this one, but the familial ties to the program will be something the staff can lean on.- 1 reply

His Gastrointestinal tract issues might have been from eating some jalapeno or spicy Mexican food for the first time and being a Pennsylvania boy it took its toll. -

Asked AI to remove the worst QB in the group. Reasoning: Even restricting it strictly to college performance, Tebow is the weakest link in this Murderers’ Row of QBs. Here’s the quick college-only breakdown: Vince Young (Texas): Rose Bowl hero, led Texas to the 2005 national title, absurd dual-threat production, one of the most electric single seasons ever. Cam Newton (Auburn): 2010 Heisman + national champion, ridiculous efficiency + rushing dominance (nearly 1,500 rush yards), carried Auburn in a way few have. Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma): Multiple Big 12 titles, Heisman winner, absurd volume + efficiency over multiple years, one of the best pure college careers statistically. Joe Burrow (LSU): 2019 was arguably the greatest single season by a college QB ever (5,600+ pass yards, 60 TDs, national title, Heisman). Instant legend. Tim Tebow (Florida): Incredible leader, two national titles, Heisman winner, tough as nails… but as a pure passer he was the clear step below the rest. Lower efficiency, more game-manager/run-heavy style compared to the elite arm talent and production of the other four. Tebow’s intangibles and winning were unmatched, but if we’re judging QB play in college (accuracy, arm strength, decision-making, passing production), he’s the odd man out against these four monsters. -

I could probably be convinced it's Tebow and not Baker. -
