Why is the Defense In Such a Better Place Than the Offense

The defense is more experienced and there's been more investment in the defense over the last couple of years. -
Why is the Defense In Such a Better Place Than the Offense
JKSmith replied to Longhorn's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I believe that the defense swaps way more personnel in and out compared to the offense. Just takes offense more legit game time to catch up. -
Defense- 8 returning starters (Simmons, Guilbeau, Muhammad, McDonald, Taaffe, Lefau, Hill, Burke, Moore). Offense- 3 returning starters, two of which aren't even playing this weekend (Wisner, Moore). DJ Campbell is the only starter this weekend who also started the Ohio State game last January. It's been two games. Let it play out.

Perhaps Im wrong, but almost everything about the defense seems to be on so much better/stronger footing than the offense. More stars performing well Better overall performance Better recruiting Better quality depth Better coaching Better game planning I don't think its just the old adage that defense ramps up earlier/quicker than offense. I think there is something deeper, but Im not sure. Would love to hear your thoughts (not your insults for daring to have an honest conversation) Thx

Can someone install a vomit gif? Please baby Jesus heal Jonah William's hamstring. I can't watch anymore fair catches with running room or the ball bouncing down the field worsening our field position. Vent over PS : Nothing against Ryan Niblett but he is not blessed with Punt Returner skills

And outperformed Stroh in both games yet Stroh got the starting nod. Maybe Flood should reevaluate how he chooses starters? -

Neto received more snaps in W2 vs SJSU than Stroh, yes, that did happen. -
I did it last week. Great time.

Leaning is a small part of what he needs to fix. He needs to fix his lateral quickness, his hip bend, his footwork, and so on. None of which is related to experience. -

Well the guy who won the job is clearly playing far worse. So what does that say? Has Neto received more snaps than stroh in game? No so I don’t think he has. -

Neto has had more than a proper chance. There is a reason why he was unable to win the job straight up out of camp.
