  2. I don't have that answer yet. Haven't heard for sure if Muschamp plans to look at him at safety yet. I'm betting he doesn't truly know until after a few spring practices ... what he's seeing from a personnel and positional needs perspective.
  3. LSU becomes the first SEC school to incorporate jersey sponsorships across the major sports. It was released Monday morning what the new LSU jerseys would look like. I am sure this is widely opposed by majority of fans across the country.

  4. Also worth mentioning that Texas was 6-7 on stolen base attempts this weekend.
  5. Buying into this account now
  6. DeJuan Blair was one of my favorite non-Texas players of that era.
  7. Highlights from Opening Weekend of Texas Baseball *** Texas took care of business with a three-game sweep over UC Davis to begin the season at home. The Longhorns have a Tuesday game against Lamar, then will get back to action with a three game home series against Michigan State. – Took Care of Business Wins are wins, make no mistake about that. Wins of 12–2 and 9–1 will highlight the weekend, but a tight 6–4 contest as well at least provided some pressure situations deep into contests for the Horns. Consider me a fan of what Texas was able to deploy from the back end of the bullpen. Anthony Pack Probably my favorite part of the weekend was the breakout debut of freshman OF Anthony Pack. The freshman led the Longhorns with six base knocks on the weekend in 11 trips to the plate, two of which being doubles. I am not to say Pack should be immediately vaulted into the top of the lineup, but with the comfort he displayed at the plate this weekend, I could certainly provide that second leadoff from the bottom end of the lineup for the likes of Mendoza, Rodriguez and the heart of the order. Heart of the Lineup It was fantastic to see Seton Hall transfer OF Aidan Robbins go deep on Friday night, then the fresh-out-of-the-gym Ethan Mendoza followed up with two of his own this weekend as well. Those were the only three home runs on the weekend, in perhaps a surprise. Seven Longhorns drove in multiple runs on the weekend. Mendoza led the way with seven, then was followed by Robbins and Rodriguez with four each. I wanted to share some words on C Carson Tinney as well. Only 1-6 at the plate, but the seven walks were very clearly a takeaway. Tinney added four strikeouts as well, so this takeaways is two-fold. First, Texas must make sure that Tinney is protected in the lineup. Whether it is Borba hitting fifth, or additional movement with Tinney, the idea that opposing teams can dance around Tinney in the order is at the very least something that has drawn my attention. Tinney also looked to be just a split-second behind on the offspeed this weekend, I am sure it is in large part because of new arms in a new location. But something to monitor. Speaking of Casey Borba, if the foul line down the left field line was about five feet further left, he would have had multiple trips around the bases. Volantis How about seven innings of one hit ball in his first career start. I understand the opposition, but very little drop off was shown from the back end of last year. It is only a matter of time before Volantis is seen in the Friday night role, in my opinion. Volantis was efficient with his pitches and finds so many unique angles from the left side, he remains a nightmare for opposing hitters.
  8. Not feeling like working and need to pass some time. If anyone has any random players or highlights to help please share
  9. Go back to BCS rankings by the computers, as the committee's subjective picks where they don't follow their own stated rules, are more of a mess than the computers. I like more teams rather than less.
  10. Today
  11. I should add Gerry says Jonah has a shoulder injury. I’m not certain of his injury in other words lol.
  12. - and put it in his 'special place'👀
  13. You don't give up home games. And Tex/UO HAS to be in Dallas, period. No negotiations.
  14. He injured his hammy in bowl practice so I’ve heard. I don’t think it’s bad and expect him to be back on the field soon baring a setback.
  15. Do we think we're keeping Littleton at star? I would assume Phillips basically has one of the corner spots locked down.
  16. No, the rules are not the same this next year. New rules go into effect that guarantee each P4 conference champion gets into playoff AND Notre Dame is guaranteed a spot if ranked in top 12. If those rules were in effect this past season, Duke and Notre Dame would have e gotten into the playoffs. Miami would have been left out.
  17. Where the 19 portal additions played high school football The Texas Longhorns have become a national recruiting power under Steve Sarkisian and the move to the SEC. 18. Really liked the pickup at the time. I guess the only question is if his size will hold up on the outside against some of the bigger freaks at WR in the SEC.
  19. Agree .. Rutgers and he's not the headline grabber
  20. Joe already printed and laminated this. 100%
  21. I think he is underrated bc he played on a bad team so his name wasn’t gonna pop off to Texas fans, but like you and Rod mentioned on the livestream, his best graded game was against Ohio st, is there a way to see who he was going up against vs OSU?
  22. Very, very key piece to this 2026 team. Cam Coleman, Rasheem Biles and the RB’s are going to get the majority of the attention, of course. Thats expected.
  23. I wish he would incorporate the 4 guard lineup of Harmon, Preston, Crump, and Booker at the guard spots with Justice at the 4/5. Just mix it up. Our bigs are butterfingers.
  24. Har de har har!!
