  1. Past hour
  2. We have 3 weeks to figure it out!
  3. Can't say I disagree, at this point.
  4. Here we go with the 24/7 policeman coming over here doing his thing ! Smh 🤣🤣
  5. It's pretty shocking to see him lose all confidence/belief so quickly It's a dramatic swag/confidence change from when he had extended action in 2024. He's got the most pressure on him of any college athlete I have seen, but still shocking to see what we all witnessed vs. UTEP.
  6. It's 11 guys just running through motions and not running an offense IMO. These offensive struggles are top down IMO and I don't think they are something that will need to be resolved starting this week with fully open competition including the QB position(include game film in this evaluation, not just practice), completely remove plays that we are just flat out not good at(quit trying to force plays), and simplify everything so that way the young receivers can get involved as well.
  7. it's definitely a 5-7 offense if what we all watched today doesn't drastically improve.
  8. What's funny to me is that when a team doesn't perform well, or up to their talent level, it's always the people that cover a team that are "you guys told us how good team X would be/could be" or "Pumping sunshine" How about some other options too... 1. An entire program (meaning coaches and support staff) are taken aback by the performance. 2. Maybe a coaching staff is not doing their job of maximizing a team. 3. Maybe some players just aren't playing at the level expected, even by a coaching staff. On the topic of Arch specifically ... does anyone think he looks remotely like the QB that played last year in his extended action? Does anyone believe that the Texas staff would be starting him if he looked like he did vs. UTEP on a daily basis in the spring and fall camp? The answers are obviously no. On some level, it's as simple as players and coaches just are under performing to their talent level. Confidence is so key in the equation too. I see an offense that lacks more and more confidence, the more they play right now. Arch has completely lost the swag/confidence that the fan base watched last year.
  9. Yep I agree it’s his third year on campus this is big boy college football it’s time to pull your Huggies up off your ankles and play football. The pride and winning tradition of the University of Texas will not be entrusted to the weak nor the timid. That means you, Arch.
  10. I don't get why sark doesnt just follow notre dames style like last year and use manning how they used Riley Leonard? They were a run first team and he can take the hits.
  11. That comment has nothing to do with todays game. Vandy is a well coached good team with a QB.
  12. I don’t think we gonna see much different than what we’ve seen. 3-4 games is a pretty good gauge of what you are as a team. Unless Arch makes monumental steps forward, we’re gonna take a step back this year.
  13. There's no way his family would let him play if he was hurt. He has the yips and he just has to play through it. Until he can get out there and feels like he can perform, we have to keep with whatever offense was trotted out today.
  14. Very little misdirection and motion. QB suddenly taking snaps under center. I formation with tailback 9 yds back. This offense is looking 20 years old. Arch isn’t even looking at open receivers much less hitting them. The OL is not getting push but they are giving a lot of time for Arch to use. Still makes a bad throw. It may be time to let Arch sit a bit.
  15. After 3 games; I am angry to see this gifted QB, play so poorly. It is such a waste of talent and the talent around him. If he can't be self motivated than he is a bust.
  16. And arch is the truth.... Don't forget all that
  17. Sellers got hurt and that’s why SC struggled!
  18. This tells me you have not watched Vandy
  19. We have different definition of what broken is. What we’re dealing with certainly isn’t anything permanent, but it’s still broken. Arch is either hurt or has the yips. I almost wish it’s the former, because you can overcome a minor injury. Anything between the ears is much harder to overcome.
  20. OP is wrong we’re beating Florida, OU, and Vandy!
  21. Pretty incredible that the guy who’s supposed to be an offensive genius, for an offense that he built entirely, that this is where we’ve come to.
  22. To me, broken would imply that there's no hope. That the offense is beyond repair. Texas can put a competitive product on the field, but it's going to take Sark calling the game and changing the way he calls/manages a game to play off of the defense and special teams. It won't be sexy, but something has to give.
  23. As of today I’m not sure we beat Kentucky or MSU but agree with the rest.
  24. What in the F Jeff??? If this isn’t broken, I’d hate to see what broken looks like. This wasn’t Ohio State in C-bus, this was motherloving UTEP in DKR. I really had to dig DEEP to come up with a worse say on offense. I frankly cannot think of a worse QB performance. This reminds me of Steve Sax and Chuck Knoblaugh suddenly unable to throw the ball to first Base.
