We just got the top class last year. Kinda hard to say we are getting our pants dropped when we have loaded talent on campus and schools like A&M throw crazy money at kids cause they sucked last year. This staff knows what they are doing and I bet it works out just fine for us still regardless if a couple chose somewhere else right now

At this point in time (hopefully things chsnge for the better) Offensive skill position recruiting has been underwhelming at best and bad at worst.

Carthage running back KJ Edwards has committed to Texas A&M. A significant shift in the 2026 class picture as Edwards was the lone back in the 2026 class from the state of Texas the Longhorns were expecting to bring in for an official visit and one of just two that had officials scheduled. Texas has hosted one running back in the 2026 cycle for an official visit this month – Ezavier Crowell. The Alabama native has a decision date for June 26 and is expected at Alabama this weekend for an official visit. There remains no official visit set for Derrek Cooper to Texas as well.

Maybe Sark needs to start offering NIL sooner than later.
